Fer les pràctiques Erasmus+ a Budapest ha sigut una experiència molt bona per a nosaltres, tant a nivell laboral com personal. Al principi estàvem un poc nerviosos, perquè era anar a un altre país, amb un idioma diferent i a una ciutat que no coneixíem, sobretot durant els primers dies. Però a poc a poc ens vam anar acostumant a la ciutat, al transport, al treball i a la vida diària allí.
Durant les pràctiques vam poder aprendre més sobre el món laboral i posar en pràctica coneixements del cicle d’Administració i Finances. Algunes de les tasques van estar relacionades amb l’organització, la gestió de documents, el suport administratiu i l’atenció al client. També vam tenir l’oportunitat de conèixer més de prop com funciona una empresa relacionada amb el turisme i les visites guiades. Això ens va permetre veure la importància de la comunicació, l’organització i el tracte amb les persones. A més, en estar en un entorn turístic, vam poder conèixer més a fons la història d’Hongria, els seus monuments, els seus llocs més importants i part de la seua cultura, que ens va semblar molt interessant.
Budapest ens va agradar molt com a ciutat i per tot el que ofereix. Té llocs molt bonics i amb molta història, com el Parlament, el Danubi, l’Òpera, el Castell de Buda, la Basílica de Sant Esteban i altres zones importants que vam poder visitar. També ens va semblar una ciutat bastant còmoda per a moure’ns i, amb el pas dels dies, ens sentim més segurs i tranquils.
En el nostre temps lliure no sempre vam fer les mateixes activitats conjuntament, però això també va fer que l’experiència fora més completa. Alguns de nosaltres visitem llocs fora de la ciutat, com Szentendre, un poble molt bonic prop de Budapest, i Tihany, en la zona del llac Balaton, conegut per les seues vistes i per la lavanda que ens van recomanar anar. També vam poder conèixer llocs especials dins de Budapest, com la cafeteria Nova York, una pastisseria famosa i un restaurant inspirat en Harry Potter, que ens van semblar llocs curiosos i diferents.
Una altra part del grup va aprofitar per a fer activitats més variades, com paddle surf, festes, concerts, festivals, carreres Erasmus i una excursió amb vaixell pel Danubi, fer la zona de Visegrád. Encara que no tots vivim exactament els mateixos plans, després vam poder compartir el que havíem fet i així conèixer Budapest i els seus voltants des d’experiències diferents.
Una cosa que també destacaríem és que la gent amb la qual tractem va ser amable i això va fer que l’estada fora més fàcil i agradable. També vam poder conèixer gent nova i fer noves amistats, cosa que va fer que l’experiència fora més especial.
Aquesta experiència ens ha ajudat a ser més independents, a organitzar-nos millor i a adaptar-nos a situacions noves. Ens emportem molts bons records de Budapest, de les pràctiques, de les persones que vam conèixer i de tot el que vivim allí.
Our Erasmus+ 2025 Experience in Budapest
Completing our Erasmus+ work placement in Budapest was an extremely rewarding experience, both professionally and personally. At first, we were a little nervous about travelling to another country with a different language and living in a city we did not know, especially during the first few days. However, we gradually became familiar with the city, the public transport system, our workplace and everyday life there.
During our placement, we had the opportunity to gain valuable insight into the world of work and apply the knowledge we had acquired during our Higher Vocational Training Programme in Administration and Finance. Our tasks included sorting and managing documents, providing administrative support and assisting with customer service. We also had the opportunity to learn more about how a company specialising in tourism and guided tours operates. This enabled us to appreciate the importance of communication, planning and customer care. Furthermore, working in a tourism-related environment allowed us to discover more about Hungary’s history, its landmarks, its most important attractions and aspects of its culture, all of which we found fascinating.
We were very impressed by Budapest and everything it has to offer. It is a beautiful city with a rich history, home to remarkable landmarks such as the Parliament Building, the River Danube, the Hungarian State Opera House, Buda Castle and St Stephen’s Basilica, as well as many other places of interest that we had the opportunity to visit. We also found the city easy to get around, and as the days went by, we became increasingly confident and felt completely at home.
In our free time, we did not always take part in the same activities, but this made the experience even more enriching. Some of us visited places outside the city, including Szentendre, a charming town near Budapest, and Tihany, on the shores of Lake Balaton, famous for its stunning views and lavender fields, which had been recommended to us. We also explored some unique places within Budapest itself, such as the famous New York Café, a renowned pastry shop, and a Harry Potter-themed restaurant, all of which provided memorable and unusual experiences.
Other members of the group took part in a wide variety of activities, including paddleboarding, concerts, festivals, Erasmus events and races, a boat trip along the River Danube, and an excursion to the Visegrád area. Although we did not all follow exactly the same itinerary, we were able to share our experiences afterwards, allowing us to discover Budapest and its surroundings from many different perspectives.
Another aspect we would like to highlight is the kindness of the people we met throughout our stay, which made our experience much easier and more enjoyable. We also had the opportunity to meet new people and make lasting friendships, making the experience even more special.
Overall, this Erasmus+ experience has helped us become more independent, improve our organisational skills and adapt to new situations with confidence. We returned home with wonderful memories of Budapest, our internship, the people we met and everything we experienced during our stay.

During the year 2025, students from IES MAESTRAT took part in four mobility placements in companies as part of the Higher Vocational Training programme in Administration and Finance (Gerard Besalduch López and Jaume Ferràs Tena in Coimbra, Portugal; Salma El Ouizi Echifaoui in Vibo Valentia, Italy; and Ainoa Abargues Tena in Cork, Ireland), and two teacher mobility for job shadowing (Carla Villagrasa Pallarès i Inés Martinez Torres in Pesaro, Italy), within the framework of the Erasmus+ project 2024-1-ES01-KA131-HED-000228435. JOB SHADOWING ERASMUS+ 2024 Carla Villagrasa Pallarès i Inés Martinez Torres. Professores d’Administració i Gestió Un any més, el Departament d’Administració de l’IES Maestrat ha participat en el programa Erasmus +. Enguany, les dues professores participants han sigut les tutores del cicle formatiu de grau superior d’Administració i finances, en concret: Inés Martinez com a tutora de primer curs, i Carla Villagrasa com a tutora de segon. La mobilitat ha tingut lloc a l’Istituto Tecnico Economico Tecnologico “Bramante Genga” de la ciutat de Pésaro, regió de Marche i de la província de Pésaro-Urbino, al nord d’Itàlia, on les dues professores han realitzat un job shadowing. Dins del marc del programa Erasmus +, un job shadowing consisteix en una estada laboral d’observació en un centre educatiu de la Unió Europea, on les dues professores del nostre centre han pogut observar la pràctica laboral del professorat homòleg italià. Pel que fa al seu model de Formació Professional, aquest té una durada de cinc anys, des dels 14 fins als 19 anys d’edat, sent els dos primers cursos obligatoris. Combina assignatures troncals, com història o matemàtiques, amb matèries específiques del camp professional econòmic i administratiu al llarg de tot el període. A més, com a curiositat, l’alumnat cursa espanyol tècnic els tres primers anys de la formació. La metodologia didàctica és majoritàriament tradicional, amb un ús predominant de bolígraf i paper. No obstant això, el centre compta amb aules específicament adaptades per a la implantació de metodologies innovadores, com ara l’aula inversa (flipped classroom), que actualment es troba en fase experimental. Durant l’estada, les professores han pogut constatar diferències significatives respecte al sistema educatiu espanyol. A les aules italianes s’observa un gran respecte cap al professorat, amb un clima de silenci absolut durant les classes, que són principalment expositives: el docent explica els continguts mentre l’alumnat pren apunts de manera constant. Els deures es realitzen habitualment a casa i posteriorment es corregeixen a l’aula. Així mateix, es dona una gran importància a l’expressió oral, amb la realització d’exàmens orals al final de cada curs. En definitiva, amb aquesta estada, s’han pogut intercanviar experiències, aprendre noves metodologies i establir nous contactes amb la finalitat de dur a terme projectes innovadors i intercanvis entre els respectius centres educatius. Des de l’IES Maestrat, volem agrair al centre receptor l’acollida del nostre professorat en el centre educatiu.
JOB SHADOWING ERASMUS+ 2024 Once again, the Administration Department at IES Maestrat has taken part in the Erasmus+ programme. This year, the two participant teachers were the tutors of the Higher Vocational Training Programme in Administration and Finance: Inés Martínez, tutor of the first-year group, and Carla Villagrasa, tutor of the second-year group. The mobility took place at the Istituto Tecnico Economico Tecnologico “Bramante Genga” in the city of Pesaro, in the Marche region and the Province of Pesaro and Urbino, in northern Italy, where both teachers carried out a job shadowing mobility. Within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, a job shadowing placement consists of an observational work stay at an educational institution within the European Union. During their visit, our two teachers had the opportunity to observe the teaching practices of their Italian counterparts. Regarding their vocational education system, it lasts five years, from the ages of 14 to 19, with the first two years being compulsory. Throughout the programme, students combine core subjects, such as History and Mathematics, with specialised subjects related to the fields of economics and business administration. Interestingly, students also study Technical Spanish during the first three years of the programme. The teaching methodology is predominantly traditional, with pen-and-paper learning remaining the norm. Nevertheless, the school has classrooms specifically designed to support innovative teaching approaches, such as the flipped classroom, which is currently being implemented on an experimental basis. During their stay, the teachers observed several significant differences compared with the Spanish education system. In Italian classrooms, there is a strong culture of respect towards teachers, with an atmosphere of complete silence during lessons, which are mainly teacher-led. Teachers explain the content while students take notes continuously. Homework is usually completed at home and then reviewed in class. In addition, considerable importance is attached to oral communication skills, with students sitting oral examinations at the end of each academic year. Overall, this mobility has provided an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences, learn about new teaching methodologies and establish new professional links with the aim of developing innovative projects and future exchanges between both educational institutions. Realitzar un programa Erasmus ha estat una de les millors decisions que he pres al llarg de la meua formació. Des del primer moment vaig tindre clar que aquesta experiència m’oferiria molt més que una simple estada acadèmica o professional, ja que m’ajudaria a créixer tant a nivell personal com laboral. A més, m’ha permès obrir la ment, guanyar confiança en mi mateixa i aprendre a adaptar-me a noves situacions.
Un dels aspectes més importants del meu Erasmus ha sigut el descobriment de la cultura irlandesa. He aprés molt sobre les seues tradicions, festivitats i costums, així com sobre la seua manera de viure i de relacionar-se. També he pogut tastar la seua gastronomía típica i entendre millor el seu estil de vida, cosa que m’ha ajudat a integrar-me i sentir-me part del país durant la meua estada.
Des de ben menuda sempre havia tingut el desig de viure una experiència a l’estranger, però no havia tingut l’oportunitat fins que vaig començar aquest cicle formatiu. Quan vaig arribar a Irlanda, els primers dies em van resultar complicats, ja que trobar-me en un país nou, amb un idioma diferent i unes costums desconegudes, va suposar un gran repte. Adaptar-se a una realitat diferent no és fàcil, però amb el temps vaig entendre que aquestes dificultats formen part del procés i són necessàries per a créixer.
A mesura que anaven passant les setmanes, la meua adaptació va millorar notablement. Poc a poc, vaig anar adquirint noves rutines, coneixent millor l’entorn i establint relacions amb les persones del meu voltant. Tot això va fer que em sentirà cada vegada més còmoda i integrada, i que començara a gaudir realment de l’experiència Erasmus.
Durant la meua estada a Cork, Irlanda, vaig tindre la sort de conéixer persones meravelloses que han fet aquesta experiència encara més especial. Tant a la casa on m’allotjava com al lloc on realitzava les pràctiques, el tracte va ser molt positiu. La cap de departament i les meues companyes de treball han sigut molt amables, respectuoses i sempre disposades a ajudar-me, cosa que va facilitar molt la meua adaptació tant a nivell personal com professional.
L’experiència laboral també ha sigut molt enriquidora, ja que m’ha permés aplicar els coneixements adquirits durant el cicle i, al mateix temps, aprendre noves maneres de treballar en un entorn internacional. He millorat el meu nivell d’anglés, he aprés a comunicar-me de manera més efectiva i he desenvolupat habilitats com la responsabilitat, l’autonomia i el treball en equip.
Però el meu Erasmus no va ser només treball. Durant la meua estada també vaig tindre l’oportunitat de viatjar i descobrir diferents llocs d’Irlanda. Vaig visitar ciutats com Galway, Dublín, Kinsale i Cobh, entre altres, i cada viatge va ser una experiència única. Aquests desplaçaments em van permetre conéixer millor el país, gaudir dels seus paisatges i crear records inoblidables.
En conclusió, l’experiència Erasmus ha sigut una etapa molt important en la meua vida, plena d’aprenentatges, reptes i moments especials. Sense dubte, és una vivència que repetiria i que recomanaria a qualsevol persona, ja que et prepara tant a nivell personal com professional i et deixa records que t’acompanyen per sempre.
ERASMUS+ 2024 IN CORK, IRELAND
Taking part in an Erasmus programme has been one of the best decisions I have made throughout my education. From the very beginning, I knew that this experience would offer me much more than a simple academic or professional placement as it would help me grow both personally and professionally. Moreover, it has allowed me to broaden my mind, gain self-confidence and learn how to adapt to new situations.
One of the most important aspects of my Erasmus experience has been discovering the Irish culture. I have learned a great deal about its traditions, festivals and customs, as well as about its way of life and how people interact with one another. I have also had the opportunity to try traditional Irish food and better understand their lifestyle, which helped me integrate and feel part of the country during my stay.
Since I was very young, I had always wanted to experience living abroad, but I did not have the opportunity until I started the Higher Vocational Training Programme in Administration and Finance at IES Maestrat. When I arrived in Ireland, the first few days were quite challenging as being in a new country with a different language and unfamiliar customs was a major challenge. Adapting to a different reality was not easy, but over time I understood that these difficulties are part of the process and are necessary for personal growth.
As the weeks went by, my adaptation improved significantly. Gradually, I began to develop new routines, become more familiar with my surroundings and build relationships with the people around me. All of this made me feel increasingly comfortable and integrated, and I was finally able to truly enjoy the Erasmus experience.
During my stay in Cork, Ireland, I was fortunate to meet wonderful people who made this experience even more special. Both in the house where I was staying and at the place where I completed my work placement, the atmosphere was very positive. The head of the department and my colleagues were extremely kind, respectful and always willing to help, which made my personal and professional adaptation much easier.
The work experience was also very enriching as it allowed me to apply the knowledge I had acquired during my training while also learning new ways of working in an international environment. I improved my English, learned to communicate more effectively and developed skills such as responsibility, independence and teamwork.
However, my Erasmus experience was not only about work. During my stay, I also had the opportunity to travel and discover different places in Ireland. I visited cities such as Galway, Dublin, Kinsale and Cobh, among others, and each trip was a unique experience. These journeys allowed me to get to know the country better, enjoy its landscapes and create unforgettable memories.
In conclusion, the Erasmus experience has been a very important stage in my life, full of learning, challenges and special moments. Without a doubt, it is an experience I would gladly do again and recommend to anyone as it prepares you both personally and professionally and leaves you with memories that last a lifetime.

La meua experiència d’Erasmus a Eslovènia ha sigut realment inoblidable. Des del primer moment vaig saber que aquestes pràctiques formatives serien una oportunitat única per créixer i aprendre, i no m’han decebut. També he aprés molt sobre cultura eslovena, des de les seues tradicions fins a la seua gastronomia. Sempre havia desitjat viure una experiència com aquesta, i ara puc dir que ha superat totes les meues expectatives. Al principi, he de reconèixer que va ser un poc difícil. Adaptar-se a un nou país, amb un idioma i costums diferents, sempre presenta desafiaments. No obstant, això és completament normal i forma part del procés d’adaptació.
Amb el temps, tot es torna més fàcil. Una vegada comences a familiaritzar-te amb l’entorn, les persones i les rutines diàries, l’experiència es fa molt més suportable i agradable, i cada dia em sentia més integrat i còmode.
Durant la meva estada en Eslovènia, he conegut gent meravellosa. Els meus companys de treball, els companys de pis i les xiques de ZNI han fet que aquesta experiència siga encara més especial. Els companys de treball han sigut molt amables i m’han ajudat a adaptar-me ràpidament a l’entorn laboral. Sempre estaven disposats a donar-me una mà i a compartir els seus coneixements amb mi. Les xiques de ZNI ens van rebre molt bé des del primer dia. Ens van ajudar amb totes les nostres preguntes i dubtes, fent que la nostra adaptació fora molt més fàcil. Sempre estaven disponibles per a resoldre qualsevol problema que tinguérem, i gràcies a elles ens vam sentir molt ben acollits.
En resum, la meua estada a Eslovènia ha sigut una de les etapes més enriquidores de la meua vida. No sols he aprés sobre una nova cultura, sinó que també he guanyat amics i records que portaré amb mi per sempre. Estic molt agraït per aquesta oportunitat i recomanaria a qualsevol que estiga considerant fer Erasmus que ho faça sense dubtar-ho.

My Erasmus+ experience in Slovenia has been really unforgettable. From the first moment I knew that this internship would be a unique opportunity for me to grow and learn, and it has not let me down. I also learnt a lot about Slovenian culture, from its traditions to its gastronomy.I had always wanted to live an experience like this, and now I can say that it has exceeded all my expectations. At first, I have to admit that it was a bit difficult. Adapting to a new country, with a different language and customs, is always a challenge. However, this is completely normal and is part of the adaptation process.
Over time, everything becomes easier. Once you start to become familiar with your surroundings, the people and the daily routines; the experience becomes much more bearable and pleasant, and day to day I felt more integrated and comfortable.
During my stay in Slovenia, I met wonderful people. My work colleagues, flatmates and ZNI girls made this experience be even more special. My work colleagues were very kind and helped me to adapt quickly to the working environment. They were always willing to give me a hand and share their knowledge with me. The ZNI girls were very welcoming from the first day. They helped us with all our questions and doubts, making our adaptation much easier. They were always available to solve any problem we had, and thanks to them we felt very welcome.
In short, my stay in Slovenia has been one of the most enriching stages of my life. Not only did I learn about a new culture, but I also made friends and got memories that I will carry with me forever. I am very grateful for this opportunity and without hesitation, I would recommend it to anyone who is considering doing Erasmus+ internships.
Erasmus+ a Eslovènia: una aventura.

La decisió d’anar-me’n d’Erasmus+ va ser un gran moment a la meva vida. No em penedeixo d’haver triat Eslovènia, que és un país petit amb moltes sorpreses. Aquesta experiència s’ha convertit en una de les experiències més agradables i inoblidables que he tingut mai.
Noves amistats
Les persones que vaig conèixer van ser les més notables. Vaig desenvolupar vincles amb eslovens i altres estudiants de tot el món. Aquests amics van ser una part crucial de la meva vida a Eslovènia.
Hem compartit tot, viatges a diferents parts del país i nits inoblidables. Vaig adquirir una gran quantitat de coneixements gràcies a ells i estic segur que aquests records seran recordats per sempre.
Records que mai seran oblidats
Cada dia a Eslovènia era una experiència nova. Les celebracions habituals, la deliciosa cuina i els aspectes menors de l’existència diària en una terra estrangera van deixar en mi una impressió duradora.
El programa Erasmus+ en Eslovènia no només em va permetre explorar un nou país sinó que també va facilitar el meu desenvolupament personal. Em van ensenyar a adaptar-me a noves circumstàncies, a ser més autosuficient i respectar la diversitat cultural per transcendir qualsevol divisió geogràfica.
Conclusió
En retrospectiva, puc dir amb seguretat que la meva estada a Eslovènia va ser un dels moments més inoblidables de la meva vida. Les amistats que vaig formar a Eslovènia, també d’altres països, i els records nous, els tindré sempre en el meu cor. Recomano a tothom realitzar Erasmus+.

The decision to go on Erasmus+ was a great moment in my life. I don’t regret having chosen Slovenia, a small country with a lot of surprises. This has become one of the most pleasant and unforgettable experiences I have ever had.
New friendships
The people I met were the most remarkable. I developed bonds with Slovenians and other students from all over the world. These friends were a crucial part of my life in Slovenia. We shared everything, trips to different parts of the country and unforgettable nights. I acquired a lot of knowledge thanks to them and I am sure that these memories will be remembered forever.
Memories that will never be forgotten
Every day in Slovenia was a new experience. The usual celebrations, the delicious cuisine and the minor aspects of everyday life in a foreign land left a lasting impression on me. The Erasmus+ programme in Slovenia not only allowed me to explore a new country, but also facilitated my personal development. I learnt to adapt to new circumstances, to be more self-sufficient and to respect cultural diversity in order to transcend any geographical division.
Conclusion
In retrospect, I can say with certainty that my stay in Slovenia was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. The friendships I made in Slovenia, as well as from other countries, and the new memories will always be kept in my heart. I recommend Erasmus+ to everyone.

Durant la meva estada en Eslovènia, he conegut gent meravellosa. Els meus companys de treball, els companys de pis i les xiques de ZNI han fet que aquesta experiència siga encara més especial. Els companys de treball han sigut molt amables i m’han ajudat a adaptar-me ràpidament a l’entorn laboral. Sempre estaven disposats a donar-me una mà i a compartir els seus coneixements amb mi. Les xiques de ZNI ens van rebre molt bé des del primer dia. Ens van ajudar amb totes les nostres preguntes i dubtes, fent que la nostra adaptació fora molt més fàcil. Sempre estaven disponibles per a resoldre qualsevol problema que tinguérem, i gràcies a elles ens vam sentir molt ben acollits.
En resum, la meua estada a Eslovènia ha sigut una de les etapes més enriquidores de la meua vida. No sols he aprés sobre una nova cultura, sinó que també he guanyat amics i records que portaré amb mi per sempre. Estic molt agraït per aquesta oportunitat i recomanaria a qualsevol que estiga considerant fer Erasmus que ho faça sense dubtar-ho.

My Erasmus+ experience in Slovenia has been really unforgettable. From the first moment I knew that this internship would be a unique opportunity for me to grow and learn, and it has not let me down. I also learnt a lot about Slovenian culture, from its traditions to its gastronomy.I had always wanted to live an experience like this, and now I can say that it has exceeded all my expectations. At first, I have to admit that it was a bit difficult. Adapting to a new country, with a different language and customs, is always a challenge. However, this is completely normal and is part of the adaptation process.
Over time, everything becomes easier. Once you start to become familiar with your surroundings, the people and the daily routines; the experience becomes much more bearable and pleasant, and day to day I felt more integrated and comfortable.
During my stay in Slovenia, I met wonderful people. My work colleagues, flatmates and ZNI girls made this experience be even more special. My work colleagues were very kind and helped me to adapt quickly to the working environment. They were always willing to give me a hand and share their knowledge with me. The ZNI girls were very welcoming from the first day. They helped us with all our questions and doubts, making our adaptation much easier. They were always available to solve any problem we had, and thanks to them we felt very welcome.
In short, my stay in Slovenia has been one of the most enriching stages of my life. Not only did I learn about a new culture, but I also made friends and got memories that I will carry with me forever. I am very grateful for this opportunity and without hesitation, I would recommend it to anyone who is considering doing Erasmus+ internships.

La decisió d’anar-me’n d’Erasmus+ va ser un gran moment a la meva vida. No em penedeixo d’haver triat Eslovènia, que és un país petit amb moltes sorpreses. Aquesta experiència s’ha convertit en una de les experiències més agradables i inoblidables que he tingut mai.
Noves amistats
Les persones que vaig conèixer van ser les més notables. Vaig desenvolupar vincles amb eslovens i altres estudiants de tot el món. Aquests amics van ser una part crucial de la meva vida a Eslovènia.
Hem compartit tot, viatges a diferents parts del país i nits inoblidables. Vaig adquirir una gran quantitat de coneixements gràcies a ells i estic segur que aquests records seran recordats per sempre.
Records que mai seran oblidats
Cada dia a Eslovènia era una experiència nova. Les celebracions habituals, la deliciosa cuina i els aspectes menors de l’existència diària en una terra estrangera van deixar en mi una impressió duradora.
El programa Erasmus+ en Eslovènia no només em va permetre explorar un nou país sinó que també va facilitar el meu desenvolupament personal. Em van ensenyar a adaptar-me a noves circumstàncies, a ser més autosuficient i respectar la diversitat cultural per transcendir qualsevol divisió geogràfica.
Conclusió
En retrospectiva, puc dir amb seguretat que la meva estada a Eslovènia va ser un dels moments més inoblidables de la meva vida. Les amistats que vaig formar a Eslovènia, també d’altres països, i els records nous, els tindré sempre en el meu cor. Recomano a tothom realitzar Erasmus+.

The decision to go on Erasmus+ was a great moment in my life. I don’t regret having chosen Slovenia, a small country with a lot of surprises. This has become one of the most pleasant and unforgettable experiences I have ever had.
New friendships
The people I met were the most remarkable. I developed bonds with Slovenians and other students from all over the world. These friends were a crucial part of my life in Slovenia. We shared everything, trips to different parts of the country and unforgettable nights. I acquired a lot of knowledge thanks to them and I am sure that these memories will be remembered forever.
Memories that will never be forgotten
Every day in Slovenia was a new experience. The usual celebrations, the delicious cuisine and the minor aspects of everyday life in a foreign land left a lasting impression on me. The Erasmus+ programme in Slovenia not only allowed me to explore a new country, but also facilitated my personal development. I learnt to adapt to new circumstances, to be more self-sufficient and to respect cultural diversity in order to transcend any geographical division.
Conclusion
In retrospect, I can say with certainty that my stay in Slovenia was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life. The friendships I made in Slovenia, as well as from other countries, and the new memories will always be kept in my heart. I recommend Erasmus+ to everyone.
Todo comenzó el 9 de marzo, cuando, gracias a nuestros profesores y a la beca Erasmus+, tuvimos la oportunidad de vivir una experiencia única. Los tres estábamos muy ilusionados por participar en este proyecto internacional.
El viaje comenzó en el aeropuerto del Prat, en Barcelona, desde donde volamos hasta Oporto. Una vez allí, tomamos un autobús que nos llevó directamente a Coímbra. Al llegar a la ciudad, cogimos un Uber hasta nuestra residencia, que sería nuestro hogar durante todo el periodo de prácticas. Allí nos esperaba nuestra coordinadora de Erasmus Mondego, quien nos enseñó el apartamento y nos explicó todo lo necesario para instalarnos cómodamente.
Nuestras Empresas
Al día siguiente, nuestra coordinadora nos acompañó a conocer las empresas donde realizaríamos nuestras prácticas formativas: Jaume en Matobra, Abdul en Electronic Shop y Gerard en Limpezas do Centro.
Desde el primer día nos sentimos muy bien acogidos en nuestras respectivas empresas y no tuvimos ningún problema. De lunes a viernes, realizábamos tareas administrativas relacionadas con nuestro ciclo formativo, lo que nos permitió poner en práctica todo lo aprendido en clase y adquirir nuevas habilidades profesionales.
Nuevas Amistades
Durante nuestra estancia en Coímbra tuvimos la suerte de conocer a personas maravillosas, tanto estudiantes españoles como italianos. Especialmente conectamos con un grupo de italianos y dos compañeros españoles con quienes convivimos durante el mes de abril. Juntos compartimos momentos inolvidables, salidas, cenas y muchas risas, que sin duda recordaremos siempre.
Descubriendo Coímbra
La mayor parte de nuestra estancia transcurrió en Coímbra, una ciudad universitaria con mucho encanto. Tuvimos la oportunidad de explorar sus jardines botánicos, sus calles históricas y, por supuesto, la Universidad de Coímbra, la más antigua de Portugal. También paseamos junto al río Mondego, disfrutando de sus puentes y de las vistas panorámicas de la ciudad. La vida nocturna en Coímbra también nos sorprendió. Cada fin de semana salíamos con nuestros amigos, sobre todo por la zona de la Plaza de la República, punto de encuentro de estudiantes y jóvenes Erasmus de toda Europa.
Nuestros Viajes
Además de Coímbra, aprovechamos para visitar algunas de las principales ciudades de Portugal.
La primera escapada fue a Lisboa, que nos encantó por su ambiente, sus barrios históricos y sus vistas al Tajo.
Después viajamos a Oporto, donde disfrutamos de su arquitectura, sus calles empedradas y la deliciosa gastronomía portuguesa, que nos sorprendió gratamente
También visitamos Braga, una ciudad que nos enamoró por sus iglesias y su tranquilidad.
Y como buenos aficionados al fútbol, no podíamos irnos sin conocer los cuatro estadios más emblemáticos del país, una experiencia inolvidable para los tres.
Conclusión
Nuestra experiencia Erasmus+ en Portugal ha sido, sin duda, uno de los momentos más especiales de nuestras vidas.
Nos llevamos recuerdos imborrables, amistades que traspasan fronteras y muchísimas anécdotas que siempre recordaremos con una sonrisa.
Recomendamos a todos los estudiantes participar en un Erasmus +: es una experiencia enriquecedora a nivel personal, académico y profesional. ¡Una aventura que vale la pena vivir!
It all started on 9th March when, thanks to our teachers and the Erasmus+ grant, we had the opportunity to live a unique experience. The three of us were very excited to take part in this international project.
The journey started at El Prat airport in Barcelona from where we flew to Porto. Once there, we caught a bus that took us directly to Coimbra. Later, we took an Uber to our residence, which would be our home during our internship. Our Erasmus coordinator, Mondego, was waiting for us there, and she showed us our flat and explained everything we needed to settle in comfortably.
Our Companies
The following day, our coordinator took us to the companies where we would be carrying out our work placements: Jaume at Matobra, Abdul at Electronic Shop, and Gerard at Limpezas do Centro.
From the very first day, we felt very welcome in our respective companies and had no proble ms at all. From Monday to Friday, we carried out administrative tasks related to our degree, which allowed us to put into practice everything we had learnt in class and to acquire new professional skills.
New friendships
During our stay in Coimbra, we were lucky to meet wonderful people, both Spanish and Italian students. We especially connected with a group of Italian and two Spanish mates with whom we shared accommodation during the month of April. We spent together unforgettable moments, outings, dinners and a lot of laughs, which we will certainly always remember.
Discovering Coimbra
We spent most of our time in Coimbra, a charming university city. We had the opportunity to explore its botanical gardens, its historic streets, and of course, the University of Coimbra – the oldest in Portugal. We also strolled along the Mondego River, enjoying its bridges and the panoramic views of the city.
Coimbra’s nightlife also surprised us. Every weekend, we went out with our friends, mainly around Praça da República – a popular meeting point for students and Erasmus youngsters from all over Europe.
Our trips
In addition to Coimbra, we took the opportunity to visit some of Portugal’s main cities.
The first one was Lisbon, which we loved for its atmosphere, historic neighbourhoods and views of the Tagus River. Then, we travelled to Porto, where we enjoyed its architecture, its cobbled streets and the delicious Portuguese cuisine, which pleasantly surprised us. We also visited Braga, a city we fell in love with for its churches and peaceful charm.
Also, as good football fans, we couldn’t leave without visiting the four most iconic stadiums in the country – an unforgettable experience for the three of us.
Conclusion
Our Erasmus+ experience in Portugal has undoubtedly been one of the most special moments of our lives. We take with us unforgettable memories, friendships that cross borders, and countless anecdotes that we will always remember with a smile.
We recommend all students to take part in an Erasmus+ programme – it’s a truly enriching experience on a personal, academic, and professional level.

La nostra experiència Erasmus a Itàlia ha sigut, sens dubte, una de les millors de la nostra vida. Hem conegut persones increïbles i, tot i que no parlàvem el mateix idioma, ens hem entés a la perfecció. Quan tens ganes de comunicar-te, sempre trobes la manera.
Aquesta aventura ens ha fet créixer molt com a persones: hem après a ser més independents, a espavilar-nos i a buscar-nos la vida per aconseguir el que volem. Hem viscut moments molt bons, hem rigut molt i, tot i els reptes, ens quedem amb records que no oblidarem mai.
També hem pogut viatjar un munt! Hem visitat llocs espectaculars com les platges del sud d’Itàlia, les illes, Sicília, i també vam fer una escapada a Malta i a Tropea, que són llocs preciosos i ens van encantar.
La gastronomia d’aquest país es increïble, la pasta, els cafès i els “gelati”
Les pràctiques les hem fet en una empresa que es dedica al lloguer i manteniment de cotxes, i la veritat és que ha sigut una passada. La «jefa» és molt bona persona i ens ha tractat súper bé des del primer dia. El personal també molt «majo», sempre amb ganes d’ajudar i crear bon ambient.
Cada dia ha sigut una nova aventura, un nou aprenentatge i una nova sorpresa. Ho tornaríem a viure una i mil vegades més.

Our Erasmus experience in Italy has been, without a doubt, one of the best of our lives. We met incredible people and, even though we didn’t speak the same language, we understood each other perfectly. When you’re eager to communicate, you always find a way.
This adventure has helped us grow a lot as individuals: we’ve learned to be more independent, to get by on our own, and to find our own way to achieve what we want. We’ve had some amazing moments, shared lots of laughs, and despite the challenges, we’ve created memories we will never forget.
We also had the chance to travel a lot! We visited incredible places such as some beaches in the south of Italy, some islands, Sicily, and we even took a trip to Malta and Tropea – both stunning destinations that we absolutely loved.
The gastronomy in this country is amazing – pasta, coffee, and gelatiare just incredible!
We did our internship in a company that specialises in car rental and maintenance, and honestly, it’s been fantastic. The boss is a really kind person and has treated us really well from day one. The rest of the staff were also lovely – always willing to help and create a good atmosphere.
Every day was a new adventure, a new lesson, and a new surprise. We would live it all over again a thousand times.
DESCOBRINT DUBLÍN: UNA EXPERIÈNCIA ERASMUS+ A L’APOLLOLANGUAGE SCHOOL

El passat mes de juliol vaig tindre la sort de poder participar en una mobilitat Erasmus+ a Dublín,
Irlanda, durant tres dies, a l’Apollo Language School, amb l’objectiu de conèixer de prop l’organització del centre, els seus programes acadèmics, especialment en l’àmbit de l’Administració d’empreses i Finances, i les seves innovadores metodologies educatives, sobretot pel que fa a les TIC i la inclusió.
Aquesta experiència ha tingut un clar valor afegit: ha enriquit el meu bagatge docent amb una visió més internacional, ha contribuït a conèixer Irlanda i el seu món laboral per poder motivar l’alumnat a participar en mobilitats Erasmus+ en aquest país.
Gràcies a aquesta mobilitat, l’ IES Maestrat aconsegueix un contacte professional més, en un país de parla anglesa, de cara a possibles projectes futurs conjunts.
Una iniciativa que, sens dubte, obre nous camins per al nostre centre, fomentant la internacionalització i acostant-nos a una educació més oberta, moderna i europea.
DISCOVERING DUBLIN: AN ERASMUS+ EXPERIENCE AT APOLLO LANGUAGE SCHOOL
Last July, I was lucky to take part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Dublin, Ireland , for three days at the Apollo Language School. The aim of this experience was to gain first-hand insight into the school’s organisation, its academic programmes—particularly in the field of Business Administration and Finance—and its innovative educational methodologies, especially regarding ICT integration and inclusive practices.
This experience has clearly provided added value: it has enriched my teaching background with a broader international perspective and has enabled me to explore Irish culture and its labour market in
order to encourage students to take part in future Erasmus+ mobilities in this country.
Thanks to this mobility, IES Maestrat has established a new professional contact in an English-speaking country, laying the groundwork for potential future joint projects.
An initiative that, without a doubt, opens new pathways for our school, promoting internationalisation and bringing us closer to a more open,
VISITA D’ALUMNAT I PROFESSORES DEL HARAM VIDAREGAANDE SKULE DE NORUEGA
La setmana del 18 de març vam tindre el gust d’acollir a 29 alumnes i 2 professores de Noruega a l’IES Maestrat de Sant Mateu. L’experiència va ser molt enriquidora perquè vam aprendre sobre una altra cultura, a més de compartir la nostra, i també vam practicar l’anglés.
Durant aquests dies vam realitzar moltes activitats especials. El dia de Sant Josep els vam acompanyar per visitar les Falles de Benicarló. El dimecres, l’ajuntament de Sant Mateu, els va rebre amb un discurs afable de benvinguda i a continuació es va realitzar la recepció per part de l’alumnat dels cicles d’Administració i Gestió i d’Informàtica i Comunicacions. Aquest dia i el dijous també van assistir a les classes, en anglés, d’Història d’Espanya i a un Escape Room sobre la matèria de Recursos Humans, a més a més de gaudir dels nostres jocs i música tradicionals. El darrer dia els vam acompanyar a València on el nostre alumnat va fer de guia turístic.
Amb tot açò, l’alumnat i professorat noruec van quedar molt contents de l’experiència i van tornar cap a casa amb la motxilla plena de bons records de l’IES Maestrat, del seu entorn i de la seua gent que no oblidaran mai. Gràcies a totes les persones que heu col·laborat i heu fet possible que aquestes activitats tan boniques siguen possibles.

VISIT OF STUDENTS AND TEACHERS FROM HARAM VIDAREGAANDE SKULE IN NORWAY
The week of March 18th, we had the pleasure of welcoming 29 students and 2 teachers from Norway to IES Maestrat in Sant Mateu. The experience was very enriching because we learned about another culture, shared our own, and practised English a lot.
During these days, we carried out many special activities: On Saint Joseph’s day, we visited Benicarló Fallas. On Wednesday, the city council of Sant Mateu received them in the town hall with a friendly welcome speech and then the school reception was held by the students of Business Administration and Management and computing and information technology students. On Wednesday and Thursday, they attended lessons on the History of Spain in English and played an Escape Room on the subject of Human Resources, in addition to enjoying our traditional games and music lessons. On the last day, we went on a school trip to Valencia where our students played the role of tourist guides showing the Norwegian students around the city.
All in all, the Norwegian students and teachers felt very happy with their stay here and came back home with their backpack full of good memories of IES Maestrat, its surroundings and its people, which for sure they will never forget. Thanks to all those who have collaborated and made this experience be possible.

No fui consciente de que me iba yo solito a Italia, hasta que estaba subido en el avión dirección a Milán, sin entender ninguna palabra de lo que hablaba la gente que tenía al lado. Gracias al profesorado del IES Maestrat pude participar en el programa “Erasmus +” en la ciudad de Brescia. La Italia de las películas se iba a convertir en mi casa durante los próximos dos meses y no me había mentalizado. La oportunidad de vivir esta experiencia, de hacer mis prácticas formativas en el extranjero, prometía muchísimo. A continuación, compartiré algunas de las experiencias más destacadas de mi viaje.
Llegada a Brescia: La Ciudad de la Cultura 2023
Al aterrizar en el aeropuerto de Orio al Serio, me sentí superperdido, ya que no hablaba el idioma y no sabía dónde estaba ni dónde iba. Los primeros días fueron de descubrimiento y adaptación. Solo llegar a Brescia conocí a dos chicos que me indicaron cómo ir a mi hotel. Al día siguiente me fui a explorar toda la ciudad, desde los monumentos romanos, pasando por la zona de tiendas hasta los callejones con acogedores bares y restaurantes. Tras recorrer gran parte de la ciudad, encontré una tienda de gastronomía siciliana en la que comí estupendamente. Más tarde, fui a devolver las llaves de mi habitación del hotel porque ya tenía un piso donde establecerme.
Llegada a la empresa
A los pocos días de llegar, entré en la empresa OMB SALERI S.P.A., una empresa dedicada a la producción de válvulas y elementos metálicos para la industria del automóvil. Tras recibirme con los brazos abiertos y enseñarme todo lo que era y hacía la empresa me asignaron un puesto de trabajo en el departamento de ventas con cuatro compañeras estupendas y un jefe de departamento muy enrollado. En la empresa, me ofrecieron la oportunidad de realizar clases de inglés durante horas de trabajo, las cuales no rechacé. También me dejaron una bici eléctrica para ir de casa a la empresa y volver. La gente de la empresa era muy amable, todos me saludaban y me daban la bienvenida. En el trabajo no tuve ninguna queja. Stefano, mi jefe, me mandaba lo que tenía que hacer, me enseñaba como quería que lo hiciera y, en caso de duda, preguntaba a Genny o a Linda, las compañeras con las que más amistad hice. Realicé distintas tareas como contactar con clientes potenciales del mercado sudamericano, realizar análisis de situación de empresas, contestar llamadas telefónicas y enviar ofertas a clientes.
Explorando el norte de Italia y Europa
Brescia se me hizo pequeña en pocos días, por lo que decidí viajar a varias ciudades para conocer más sobre este país. Primero, viajé a Venecia con un compañero de trabajo, luego visité pueblos cercanos como Verona y el Lago de Garda. De repente, llegó Pascua y tenía 5 días de fiesta, los cuales aproveché para irme de viaje a Bruselas y Ámsterdam con un amigo. Al finalizar ese viaje, fui a Milán porque me venía de paso y, sin duda, fue el mejor destino de todos.
Un poco de español por Italia
A las tres semanas de estar allí, conocí a un grupo de estudiantes españoles con los que hice amistad. También vinieron a verme mis amigos de toda la vida (con los que me fui a Milán). También vinieron Aitana y Ana, dos profesoras de mi instituto con las que fuimos a ver monumentos y a tomar algo por las calles de Brescia.
Inmersión Cultural y Aprendizaje del Idioma
Aprender italiano fue más fácil de lo que pensaba, ya que al estar casi todos los días escuchando hablar a mis compañeros de trabajo, cada día aprendía unas cuantas palabras más. También empecé a ver series y escuchar música en italiano, lo que me facilitó el aprendizaje, que para dos meses que estuve creo que fue muy bueno.
Conclusión
Mi movilidad Erasmus en el norte de Italia ha sido una muy buena experiencia en mi vida. Me permitió crecer académica, cultural y personalmente. La oportunidad de conocer gente diferente, aprender un nuevo idioma y explorar lugares impresionantes hizo que este viaje fuera único. Me hubiera gustado quedarme.

On the way to Italy
I didn’t realise that I was going to Italy on my own until I was on the plane to Milan, and I didn’t understand a word of what the people next to me were saying. Thanks to the teaching staff of IES Maestrat, I was able to take part in the “Erasmus +” programme in the city of Brescia. The Italy of films was going to become my home for the next two months, and I had not prepared myself for that. The opportunity to live this experience of doing my internship abroad promised a lot. Below, I will share some of the most outstanding experiences of my trip.
Arrival in Brescia: The City of Culture 2023
When I landed at Orio al Serio airport, I felt really lost as I didn’t speak the language, and I didn’t know where I was or where I was going. The first days were a time of discovery and adaptation. As soon as I arrived in Brescia, I met two guys who showed me how to get to my hotel. The next day, I went to explore the whole city: the Roman monuments, the shopping area, and the alleys with cosy bars and restaurants. After wandering around much of the city, I found a Sicilian food shop where I had a great meal. Later, I went to return the keys of my hotel room as I already had a flat to move into.
Arrival at the company
A few days after my arrival, I went to OMB SALERI S.P.A., a company dedicated to the production of valves and metal parts for the automotive industry. After welcoming me with open arms and showing me what the company was and what it did, I was assigned a job in the Sales Department with four wonderful colleagues, and a very friendly head of department. In the company, they offered me the opportunity to take English lessons during working hours, which I did not refuse. They also gave me an electric bike to go from home to the company and back. The people in the company were very friendly. They all greeted me and welcomed me. At work, I had no complaints at all. Stefano, my boss, told me what I had to do, showed me how he wanted me to do it, and in case of doubt, I asked Genny or Linda, the colleagues with whom I made the most friends. I carried out different tasks such as contacting potential clients in the South American market, analysing the situation of companies, answering phone calls, and sending offers to clients.
Exploring Northern Italy and Europe
Brescia became too small for me in a few days, so I decided to travel to several cities to learn more about this country. First, I visited Venice with a workmate, then I visited nearby towns like Verona and Lake Garda. Suddenly, Easter arrived, and I had 5 holiday days, which I used to go on a trip to Brussels and Amsterdam with a friend. At the end of that trip, I visited Milan because I was passing through, and without a doubt, it was the best destination of all.
A bit of Spanish in Italy
Three weeks after being there, I met a group of Spanish students, and we made friends. Besides, my lifelong friends (the ones I went to Milan with) visited me, and Aitana and Ana, two teachers from my high school, also came, and we went sightseeing and had something to eat in the streets of Brescia.
Cultural Immersion and Language Learning
Learning Italian was easier than I thought it would be. As I was almost every day listening to my workmates talking, I learned a few more words each day. I also started to watch series and listen to music in Italian, which made it easier for me to learn the language, and for the two months I was there, I think my learning was pretty good.
Conclusions
My Erasmus mobility in Northern Italy has been a very good experience in my life. It allowed me to grow academically, culturally and personally. The opportunity to meet different people, learn a new language and explore amazing places made this trip unique. I didn’t want to leave.
