During our visit to the school of Rybnik, in the Silesia region marked by its coal heritage, we experienced a very enriching week. From May 18th to 24th, 2025, we took part in group dynamics and explored technological activities such as 3D‑printer workshops. We enjoyed traditional Physical Education games and several guided tours around the school. We also visited the Ignacy mine, learning about the industrial past of the area. The school showed us how they organise their library and their garden, where we joined a composting and planting workshop. We observed English lessons and discovered the specialised support provided by the speech therapist. Finally, we collaborated to prepare the future visit of our own students, strengthening the connection between both schools.
Durant la nostra visita a l’escola de Rybnik, situada a la regió de Silèsia i marcada pel seu passat miner, vam viure una setmana molt enriquidora. Del 18 al 24 de maig de 2025 participàrem en dinàmiques de grup i en activitats tecnològiques com el treball amb impressora 3D. Gaudírem de jocs tradicionals d’Educació Física i de diverses visites guiades pel centre. També visitàrem la mina Ignacy, on coneguérem el passat industrial de la zona. L’escola ens mostrà l’organització de la biblioteca i del seu hort, on realitzàrem un taller de compostatge i plantació. Observàrem classes d’anglés i l’atenció especialitzada d’una logopeda. Finalment, col·laboràrem en la preparació de la futura visita del nostre alumnat, reforçant el vincle entre ambdós centres.
