Seven students and three teachers from our School participated in the final mobility of the Erasmus+ KA229 Democracy project; a journey from ancient times to present from May 7 to 14, 2022, in Manisa, Turkey.
Our colleagues and friends from Manisa Ticaret Borsası Anatolian High School made the participants enjoy the stay with an excellent program of visits to historical and natural sites, including Pamukkale Travertines- Hierapolis, Çeşme castle, Efes, Şirince, Kuşadası and Sığacık.
We have to thank the hospitality of our Turkish friends.
Our students, together with their classmates from the partner schools of Lithuania, Italy, Greece and Turkey, presented their work on the most relevant recent events of their respective democratic systems as well as sports and traditional games selected by the students.
The project has represented invaluable collaborative learning and has contributed to strengthening the defense of democratic principles on which the continuous process of building the European dimension of education must be based.
In total, throughout the development of the project, 27 students and 6 teachers from Tàrrega have participated in the different mobilities.
Although the Democracy project ends with this mobility, the bonds of friendship between all participating schools, their students and teachers will remain forever.
