OUR HIGH SCHOOL AND CITY

We are a Secondary School called IES FRANCESC TÀRREGA in Vila-real that teaches students from 11 to 17 years old. It’s a big school with more than 150 teachers and 1500 students with ESO (compulsory secondary education), Bachillerato (post-compulsory education) and vocational training. We teach several subjects such as Technology, Economy, Arts and Crafts, Mathematics, Music, Biology and Geology, Physical Education, ICT, Physics and Chemistry, , Professional Training and Guidance, Classical Culture, Special Education Needs in Hearing and Language and French, English, Spanish and Valencian Language

We are taking part with great enthusiasm in our school in the organization and development of Erasmus+ projects. Furthermore our school participes actively in eTwinning projects and last year was awarded with a European Quality Label.

Our high school Francesc Tàrrega has an Erasmus+ accreditation 2021-27 and a wide experience in European exchange project. Throughout these courses we have carried out mobilities with different coutnries, even though we always welcome to new reliable partners.

The main goals of our projects are digital tools in the European education, helping to shape a common European education scope and fostering culture and other languages among our students.

STUDENTS

Next year 2025 our students are going to participate in their mobilities for the grades 4th ESO and 1st Baccaulearate. Students from 4th ESO are going to visit Hamburg (Germany) in May and our 1st Bac students are visiting Burdeaux (France) in April.
