Assembly

Habits and routines in the infant stage are very necessary for children to be able to carry out their daily work. For this reason, every day when we arrive at the school we hold the assembly where we see:

  • Which boys and girls are at school and which are at home and we sing the song of Good morning life of Gertrudis
  • What day it is: we sing Damaris’ song of the days of the week.
  • What is the weather: we sing the Damaris song of: what day is it?
  • What season we are in: we talk about the characteristics, the predominant colors and we do some activities throughout that season: such as the mini worlds of each season, the tree of the season, the mandalas with loose pieces or going out to the natural environment to observe the changes that occur in each season.

This course the different aspects such as the day we are, the season, the weather… we work with manipulative materials inspired by methodologies such as Montessori or Waldorf, which help children to understand much better these concepts that are so abstract for them at this age.

  • What we are going to do today: schedule with pictograms and images to establish what we are going to do each day and which playground we have to play.
  • Series with 23 elements with the theme of the station we are working on or the quarterly project

  • Panel of the protagonist number: where we work on the number from different manipulative activities
  • Letters panel: from mobile letters we put the name of the boy or girl protagonist of the day and also those words that we are working on in the project: we draw, we write, we look for the letters and we form the word, we count syllables and we look for the vowels, where we sing Dani Miquel’s song of the vowels.

  • PELO: Oral language stimulation project: from the roulette wheel or Ferris wheel we imitate noises, roos and praxies.
