ORGANIZATION

Criteria for the selection of participating students:

Approved by the School Board on January 25, 2024

Approved by the Municipal School Board on February 7, 2024

Approved at the School Board on January 25, 2024

The mobility with female students is designed for students in the 6th grade of Primary Education. As this is the oldest group in the center, the Erasmus Commission has considered that it would be the most appropriate, since they present a greater maturity to face and take advantage of an experience of this type.

Although the first intention is to be able to travel with the 20 students that will form the group during the academic year 2024-25, a protocol has been established in order to, if necessary, carry out a selection of participating students.

At the time of elaborating this protocol, it has been considered convenient to establish a common procedure for the public centers of the municipality of Agost, the IES el Arco and the CEIP La Rambla. The Erasmus Commissions of the IES and the school have worked together to find a procedure that is open, public and transparent and that, above all, prioritizes students in disadvantaged situations, either by disability, special educational needs or economic obstacles.

PROCEDURE:

  1. Information to families through the center’s official communication channels. Personal interview with those families that, for cultural, social or religious reasons, are more reluctant to the fact that their children participate in this type of initiatives, in order to explain them the benefits of the experience. In the interview will be present a member of the Erasmus Commission, the tutor and the guidance counselor of the center.
  2. Elaboration of the list of participants. Once the families give their consent, a list will be drawn up with the students who agree to participate. In case the number is higher than the vacancies offered, it will be passed to the phase of baremación.
  3. Evaluation and selection of students. Publication of the evaluation criteria on the center’s bulletin board.
The Erasmus Commission, in which the Management Team participates, will be in charge of gathering the necessary information from each student. Then, the points will be counted according to the scale.
  4. Publication of the provisional list of selected students. A list will be posted on the center’s bulletin board and all families who have participated in the process will be informed by telephone of the personal results. There will be a period of 5 working days for complaints. After this time and once the claims have been resolved, if any, the definitive list of participants will be published.
To be free of any incidents (minor), regulated by the Coexistence Plan of the center, in the course of the mobility will be an indispensable requirement to participate in the activity, whether or not the selection of students is necessary. Likewise, in the case of the IES, absenteeism will be a reason for exclusion from the program.
