Official School of Languages – Alcoy
The EOI-Alcoy Language School is a state-funded educational centre which offers language courses in English, German, French, Italian and Catalan, based on the Common European Framework of Reference. We also provide qualifications for work or study purposes. The school opened in the year 2004 and has since become a leading institution in both the city and surrounding area. Our students come from different backgrounds and have various language competence levels, with ages ranging between 15 and 75, thus covering a large proportion of the population in Alcoy and neighbouring towns.
We have over 1000 students enrolled in the different levels taught: A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Assessment is based on attendance, class participation and test-taking. Tuition is conducted at the school and students attend classes twice a week (four hours weekly).
