Mobility to Kramfors (Swedeen) with the Erasmus Nort2South project: Digitalizing for a sustainable and inclusive Europe

The five students of the Erasmus North2South project of IES Puçol with their two teachers have made a group mobility to Kramfors (Sweden) the week from 12 to 16 February. The objective of mobility has been to share learning and exchange experiences in their common project with the school Gudmundraskola of civic engagement with sustainability and inclusion. A week of immersion in the Swedish education system, attending classes, doing winter sports and group activities, highlighting the peer learning that our students have given to Swedish students, showing and sharing the video games developed on environmental awareness based on the 3Rs and SDG 12 of responsible consumption and guiding the first steps of Swedish students in programming with Scratch.

Thank you teachers and students of Gudmundraskola for this unique experience!

Next May will be the visit of the group of Swedish students together with their teachers to carry out the second part of the project and thus complete the eTwinning project of combined group mobility.

Las cinco alumnas del IES Puçol representantes del proyecto han realizado la semana del 12 al 16 de febrero junto con sus dos profesoras una movilidad en grupo a Kramfors (Suecia) para compartir aprendizajes e intercambiar experiencias en su proyecto común con la escuela Gudmundraskola de compromiso cívico con la sostenibilidad y la inclusión. Una semana de inmersión en el sistema educativo sueco, asistiendo a clase, practicando deportes de invierno y realizando actividades en grupo, destacando el aprendizaje entre iguales que nuestras alumnas han impartido al alumnado sueco, mostrado y compartiendo los videojuegos elaborados sobre concienciación medioambiental basados en las 3R y el ODS 12 de consumo responsable y guiando los primeros pasos del alumnado sueco en programación con Scratch.

El próximo mes de mayo será la visita del grupo de alumnado sueco junto con sus profesoras para realizar la segunda parte del proyecto y completar así el proyecto eTwinning de movilidad combinada de grupo.

ERASMUS project dissemination in primary school of Puçol

The students of the European Civic Ambassadors Student Club of IES Puzol, winners of the Girls4Tech Award with a project to design a Sustainable Tourism App (Erasmus Project KA145), have visited the local schools to explain their project and share their experience with the 6th grade students. This is a very interesting and motivating activity for children that also promotes the role of girls in the world of science.

Les alumnes del Club d´Alumnat Ambaixador Cívic Europeu de l´IES Puçcol guanyadores del Premi Girls4Tech amb un projecte de disseny d´una App de Turisme Sostenible (projecte ERASMUS KA145) , s´han desplaçat als col.legis de la localitat per explicar el seu projecte i compartir l´experiència amb l´alumnat de 6é de primària. Es tracta d´una activitat molt interessant i motivadora per als xiquets que a més fomenta el paper de les xiques en el mon de la ciència.

LONG-TERM LEARNING MOBILITY OF PUPILS IN JARVENPÄÄ (FINLAND)

Last August 2023, three students from IES Puçol participated in a long-term individual mobility (6 weeks) in the Finnish high school Järvenpään lukio. The Erasmus+ Accreditation gave them the opportunity to acquire or improve some of the competences included in the LOMLOE: cultural awareness and expression, oral and written competence in English, as well as to get to know and immerse themselves in the daily life of a reference centre in Europe.

The students were interested in the innovative methodologies used in the Finnish Education System, for example, each student can organise their own timetable according to the subjects chosen, they have their own laptop, and the duration of each lesson is longer than in the Spanish Education System, allowing them to study each subject in greater depth.

They were impressed with the school’s facilities, which include large, well-lit corridors, large rooms with sofas for students to relax in, a huge gym with lots of equipment, soundproof music rooms and a sauna for students to use.

El pasado mes de agosto de 2023, tres estudiantes del IES Puçol participaron en una movilidad individual de larga duración (6 semanas) en el centro educativo de bachiller Järvenpään lukio de Finlandia. La Acreditación Erasmus+ les ha dado la oportunidad de adquirir o mejorar algunas de las competencias recogidas en la LOMLOE: conciencia y expresión cultural, la competencia oral y escrita del inglés, así como, conocer y sumergirse en el día a día de un centro referente en Europa,

El alumnado se interesó por las metodologías innovadoras que se aplican en el sistema educativo finlandés, por ejemplo, cada estudiante puede organizar su propio horario según las asignaturas elegidas, tiene su ordenador portátil y la duración de cada sesión es mayor que en el sistema educativo español pudiendo profundizar más en cada una de ellas.

Las instalaciones del instituto les impactaron por sus grandes pasillos iluminados, amplios espacios amueblados con sofás para el alumnado y un gimnasio enorme con mucho material, aulas de música insonorizadas y una sauna a disposición del alumnado.
