As you know we are going to join this subject with Maths. How? Through the geometric shapes!

This week we are going to work the RECTANGLE, the CUBE and the CYLINDER.

You have to look for an object in your house with a rectangle shape, one object with a cube shape and another object with a cylinder shape. Be CREATIVE

Then you have to take one or two photos.

This week we are going to work the CONE, the TRAPEZOID and the POLYGONS OF MORE THAN 5 SIDES (Pentagon, hexagon, heptagon,…).

You have to look for an object in your house with a cone shape, one object with a trapezoid shape and another object with a polygon of more than 5 sides. CREATIVITY

Then you have to take one or two photos.

4t ORAL COMMUNICATION – From 18th to 22nd May

We are going to speak about us.

When you finish the task, you have to read it and practise your information.

For example: Hello! My name’s Joan Lluch. I’m 11 years old.

 

Then you have to RECORD yourselves with a mobile phone/tablet (in audio or video)

-Introducing yourselves saying your name, surname, age, where you live, what you can play, your favourite animals, what you like and something about your family. DON’T READ the information when you are speaking, please!!! I TRUST IN YOU

You must use the information of the exercise 2 of María’s task and different one if you have a high English level (for instance: I go to an English academy).

Last Friday was the Family’s Day! They can be big or small, but they are along our lives helping us.

Draw a picture of your family.

You need: A piece of paper/cardboard, any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…) and a pencil.

Instructions: DO IT WITH LOVE AND THEY WILL LIKE IT!

Paper flower craft

You need two pieces of paper/cardboard, scissors, glue and any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: 1. Cut a piece of paper into small pieces.

  1. Stick the small pieces making a flower in a piece of paper/cardboard
  2. Paint the flower with the material that you prefer (paint, markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…) of different colors.

6é ORAL ENGLISH COMMUNICATION – From 11th to 15th May

THIS WEEK THE TASKS HERE AND IN AULES. NEXT WEEK JUST IN AULES!!

We are going to review the grammatical structures of the English Class Book.

Let’s review the must / mustn’t: obligation, with the following structures and examples:

-Affirmative “Subject + MUST + object

I must go outside          He must be careful        We must go inside (Page 33 of the Class Book).

-Negative “Subject + MUSTN’T + object

You mustn’t be noisy     She mustn’t go upstairs They mustn’t break anything (Page 33 of the Class Book).

In the exercises 2 and 4 of the page number 33 there are actions to practise (tidy up, eat snacks, touch the fence,…). 

 

Then you can RECORD yourself with a mobile phone/tablet or** (in audio or video)

-Saying the structures “Subject + MUST + object”

                                             “Subject + MUSTN’T + object” with 3 different ACTIONS.

 

You can use the actions of the exercises 2 and 4 of the page number 33, or different ones if you prefer (for instance: I must be quiet in the video conference).

My favourite toy

Draw your favourite toy! You need: A piece of paper/cardboard, a pencil and any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: 1. Choose your favourite toy

  1. Draw your favourite toy in a piece of paper/cardboard and paint it
  2. Put the toy and the drawing together
  3. Take one or two photos

Potato stamp

You need a potato, children’s scissors, a pencil/pen, paint and a piece of paper.

Instructions: 1. Cut the potato in half with the children’s scissors.

  1. Draw the desired shape on the surface of the potato using a pencil or a pen. Be CREATIVE!
  2. Very CAREFULLY use the children’s scissors to cut the potato around this shape.
  3. Add a little bit of paint to your stamp.
  4. Start stamping the potato stamp on the piece of paper
