Two Technology teachers took part in the international course “Networking across Europe: Intercultural Project Management for European School Projects”, held in Malta from March 1 to March 6, 2026. 

The course, consisting of 35 hours of classroom instruction, combined theoretical knowledge with practical application. A wide range of methodologies were used, including plenary sessions, pair and group discussions, workshops, and interactive learning formats. Participants also worked with digital tools such as Canva, Task Cards, Team Shake, and ClassroomScreen, and used an e-learning platform to support collaboration and learning. 

The two teachers highlighted the value of this experience, which has equipped them with practical tools and innovative ideas to develop European projects and strengthen international collaboration within their school. 

Dos professores de Tecnologia van participar en el curs internacional «Networking across Europe: Intercultural Project Management for European School Projects», celebrat a Malta de l’1 al 6 de març de 2026.

Amb un total de 35 hores de formació presencial, el curs va combinar continguts teòrics amb activitats pràctiques. Es van emprar metodologies diverses com a sessions plenàries, treball en parelles i xicotets grups, tallers, dinàmiques interactives i ferramentes digitals com Canva, Task Cards, Team Shake o ClassroomScreen, a més de l’ús d’una plataforma d’aprenentatge en línia.

Les professores van destacar el gran valor formatiu d’esta experiència, que els permetrà aplicar noves estratègies i desenrotllar projectes europeus innovadors, enfortint la dimensió internacional del seu centre educatiu.

Puçol (Valencia), May 18–22 — A group of Year 10 students and their peers from Notre Dame College recently took part in an enriching Erasmus+ mobility in Puçol,  the international project “SDG Revolution: Living Cities.” 

Over five intense days, students had the opportunity to live and collaborate together, working in international teams and taking part in activities aimed at discovering cities such as Puçol and Valencia. 

The programme combined academic learning with cultural experiences. Among the highlights was a visit to the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Students also visited the Fallas Museum, where they learned first-hand about one of the most representative traditions of the Valencian Community, and toured the historic city centre, discovering its artistic and cultural heritage. 

One of the most dynamic moments of the week was the English Adventure Quest in Puçol, an interactive activity in which students, organised into international groups, explored local traditions while developing their English language skills and teamwork abilities. 

Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience that reinforces the importance of Erasmus+ programmes in the holistic education of students. 

Mobilitat en grup projecte SDG revolution: living cities 

Puçol (València), del 18 al 22 de maig — Un grup d’estudiants de 2n i els seus companys del Notre Dame College han participat recentment en una enriquidora mobilitat Erasmus+ a Puçol, emmarcada en el projecte internacional “SDG Revolution: Living Cities”.  

Durant cinc intenses jornades, l’alumnat va tindre l’oportunitat de conviure i col·laborar treballant en equips internacionals realitzant activitats per a descobrir ciutats com Puçol i València.  

El programa va combinar aprenentatge acadèmic i experiències culturals. Entre les activitats més destacades es troba la visita a la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències de València. Així mateix, van visitar el Museu Faller, on van conéixer de primera mà una de les tradicions més representatives de la Comunitat Valenciana, i van recórrer el centre històric de la ciutat, descobrint el seu patrimoni artístic i cultural.  

Un dels moments més dinàmics de la setmana va ser la realització d’una English Adventure Quest a Puçol, una activitat interactiva en la qual els estudiants, organitzats en grups internacionals, van explorar les tradicions locals mentres desenrotllaven les seues competències lingüístiques en anglés i habilitats de treball en equip.  

Sens dubte, una vivència inoblidable que reforça el paper dels programes Erasmus+ en la formació integral de l’alumnat. 

From May 4 to 11, 2026, the CONSONANT VOICES student group from IES de Puçol traveled to Brou (France) to reunite with students from the College Florimond Robertet, accompanied by teachers MªJosé Claramunt and Carmina Margaix, and to perform the concert they had been preparing all year, which they had already presented at the Casa de Cultura in Puçol.   

 Our trip was a complete success; teachers, students, and families were all very pleased with the warm welcome, our stay in Brou, and the sense of camaraderie that surrounded the trip.   

 The concert took place at the iconic theater in Châteaudun, a beautiful venue steeped in history. The following songs were performed: “Lluna Mediterrànea,” “We Will Rock You,” “Hijo de la Luna,” “La La Land,” “Ciclo de la vida,” and “Dima Zaho.”   

All the students and teachers participating in the project visited the town of Brou, Chartres with its spectacular cathedral and surroundings, and Paris with all its charm. A highlight of the trip was the ride on the Bateau Mouche, which, despite the rain, made for one of the many unforgettable moments of this trip.

Del 4 a l’11 de maig de 2026 el grup d’alumnes de CONSONANT VOICES de l’IES de Puçol viatjaren a Brou (França) per retrobar-se amb l’alumnat del College Florimond Robertet  amb les professores MªJosé Claramunt i Carmina Margaix i dur endavant el concert que han estat preparant durant tot el curs i que ja varen interpretar a la Casa de Cultura de Puçol. 

El nostre viatge ha sigut tot un èxit, professorat, alumnat i famílies han estat molt contents de l’acollida, de l’estada a Brou i de tota la germanor que ha envoltat el viatge. 

El concert es va fer al teatre emblemàtic de Châteaudun, un lloc molt bonic i amb molta història. Es varen interpretar les següents cançons: “Lluna Mediterrània”, “We will rock you”, “Hijo de la Luna”, “La la land”, “Ciclo de la vida” i “Dima Zaho”. 

Tot l’alumnat i professorat participant en el projecte visitàrem el poble de Brou, Chartres amb la seua espectacular catedral i entorn i Paris amb tot el seu encant, destacant el viatge amb el Bateau Mouche que amb la plutja va fer un de tants  moments inoblidables d’aquest viatge. 

Last February, our principal, Santi Roca, and music teacher Noelia Lerma took part in a job shadowing experience in Vignola as part of a European exchange and learning programme. 

During one week, they had the opportunity to closely observe the daily work and organisation of Italian schools, sharing experiences and reflections with local education professionals. This professional immersion allowed them to learn more about inclusive education, competency-based learning and the role of music as an educational and integrating tool. 

They also exchanged ideas, teaching strategies and resources with teachers from different educational backgrounds, gaining valuable insights and broadening their educational perspective. 

This mobility experience was highly enriching both professionally and personally, and it will undoubtedly help continue improving the educational practices of our school while strengthening its European dimension. 

Job Shadowing a Vignola (Província de Mòdena, Itàlia) 

El passat mes de febrer, el nostre director, Santi Roca, i la professora de música Noelia Lerma varen participar en una experiència de Job Shadowing a Vignola, dins del marc d’intercanvi i aprenentatge europeu. 

Durant una setmana varen poder conèixer de primera mà el funcionament dels centres educatius italians, compartint espais d’observació, treball i reflexió amb professionals de l’educació. Esta immersió professional els va permetre aprofundir especialment en metodologies relacionades amb la inclusió educativa, el treball competencial i la importància de la música com a ferramenta pedagògica i integradora. 

A més de descobrir noves formes d’organització i dinàmiques d’aula, també van tindre l’oportunitat d’intercanviar experiències, materials i idees amb docents d’altres contextos europeus, enriquint així la seua visió educativa. 

Esta estada ha sigut una experiència molt valuosa tant a nivell professional com humà, que sens dubte contribuirà a continuar millorant les pràctiques educatives del nostre centre i a reforçar la dimensió europea de la nostra comunitat educativa.
