Potato stamp

You need a potato, children’s scissors, a pencil/pen, paint and a piece of paper.

Instructions: 1. Cut the potato in half with the children’s scissors.

2. Draw the desired shape on the surface of the potato using a pencil or a pen. Be CREATIVE!
3. Very CAREFULLY use the children’s scissors to cut the potato around this shape.
4. Add a little bit of paint to your stamp.
5. Start stamping the potato stamp on the piece of paper

Name bug craft

This week we are going to work symmetry and reflection.

You just need a piece of paper, a pencil and any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: 1. Fold a piece of paper in half.

2. Write your name with a pencil along the crease of the paper. The letters must be LARGE.

3. Refold the paper.
4. Write over the folded paper several times so your name can be written on the other half of the paper. You can use a window to do it better.
5. Open the paper and trace both names one more time.
6. Paint the inside of the letters, using the same colour on each side of a letter. HAVE FUN!

Gender neutral toilet sign

Let’s imagine in the High School are going to make toilets that are not separated by gender (male and female)…it seems the future but there are in a few places around the world.

You are going to make a gender neutral toilet sign!

You just need a piece of paper/cardboard, a pen/pencil, any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…) and a lot of TOLERANCE!

Instructions: Draw in a piece of paper/cardboard a gender neutral toilet sign as you think it is APPROPIATE.

Geometric shapes

In the next weeks we are going to join this subject with Maths. How? Through the geometric shapes!

This week we are going to work the CIRCLE, the TRIANGLE and the SQUARE.

You have to look for an object in your house with a circle shape, one object with a triangle shape and another object with a square shape. CREATIVITY!

Then you have to take one or two photos.

Book Day Dragon bookmark

Last Thursday was the Book Day and Saint George Day! You are going to make a dragon bookmark for your books.

You need a piece of paper/cardboard, scissors, a pencil/pen, glue, a ruler and any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: 1. Cut a piece of paper/cardboard into a big square shape. Divide this square into 4 small squares. Paint the square with colour green.

2. Cut one square as you will see below. Divide two squares into triangles and cut the external triangles.
3. Double the triangles as you will see below.
4. Stick the triangles together.
5. Draw the eyes, mouth, nose, teeth and tongue of the dragon. CREATIVITY!

Book Day bookmark

I have watched that you are Booktubers! And last Thursday was the Book Day. You are going to make a bookmark for your books.

You just need a piece of paper/cardboard, scissors, maybe glue/pen/pencil, any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…) and a lot of CREATIVITY!

Instructions: Cut a piece of paper/cardboard into a rectangle shape and decorate it as you prefer. You can paint, write, stick papers on it…

Make a book cover

Last Thursday was the Book Day! You are going to make a book cover.

You need a piece of paper/cardboard, a pencil, a ruler and any material to paint (paint, markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: Draw a BIG book and create the cover as you prefer. Be CREATIVE!

Dragon clothespin craft

Last Thursday was the Book Day and Saint George Day!

Make a dragon clothespin craft. You need: A green clothespin, a piece of paper/cardboard, glue, scissors and any material to paint (markers, felt tip pens, crayons,…).

Instructions: 1. Cut a piece of paper/cardboard as the body, the wings and the tongue of the dragon.

2. Color the wings and the body with color green, and the tongue with color red.
3. Stick the body on the clothespin and the wings on the body.
4. Stick the tongue on the body.
5. Draw two eyes.

Winter has ended and Spring has started!

Make a Spring craft in a piece of paper, cardboard or paperboard using pasta (fusilli, farfalle, noodles, macaroni, spaghetti,…). Be CREATIVE!

A String Phone

All you need is: 2 yogurts, 2 needles/toothpicks/paper clips and wool/cord/thread.

Instructions: 1. Cut a long piece of wool/cord/thread. 10 or 15 meters is enough.

2. Poke a small hole in the bottom of each yogurt.
3. Thread the wool/cord/thread through each yogurt and tie knots at each end of the yogurt with the needles/toothpicks/paper clips.
4. You can decorate your phone. Be CREATIVE!

Then go to a different room and try to communicate with a member of your family! YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE FUN!!
