Last month, we had the amazing opportunity to participate in a language immersion in Broadstairs, a picturesque seaside town in the South East of England, together with my high school classmates. This trip allowed us to improve our English and get to know the British culture.
Every morning we attended English classes at a local school, where the teachers taught us many new things, the classes were fun and very entertaining. In the afternoons we had activities like going to Canterbury, London and many other cities and activities like sports or excursions. What we liked the most was London, we had time to explore the city and go shopping.
In the evenings we also had fun activities such as karaoke or traditional dancing, among others. The stay with our host families was very welcoming, they made us feel at home and we were able to discover the British culture. We are very grateful to have been able to participate in this language immersion with our school, it was a unique experience and we would definitely do it again.
