El alumnado de 6º de primaria de centros adscritos que SÍ quiera cursar 1º de la ESO en el IES Joanot Martorell debe CONFIRMAR LA PLAZA que tiene reservada en este centro. La confirmación de plaza la realizará en el colegio donde se encuentre matriculado actualmente. Este alumnado NO podrá participar en la admisión, de hacerlo, incurrirá en duplicidad.
OJO: La duplicidad implica la pérdida del derecho de participar en la admisión y de la plaza reservada en nuestro instituto. Este alumnado solo obtendrá plaza una vez finalizada la admisión en las plazas que queden vacantes en cualquier instituto de Valencia.
Los colegios adscritos repartirán, a finales del mes de mayo o principios de junio, el sobre de matrícula y la cita para presentarlo presencialmente en nuestra Secretaría. Los centros adscritos al IES Joanot Martorell son:

El alumnado de 6º de primaria de centros adscritos que NO quiera cursar 1º de la ESO en el IES Joanot Martorell debe RENUNCIAR A LA PLAZA que tiene reservada en este centro. La renuncia de plaza la realizará en el colegio donde se encuentre matriculado actualmente. Este alumnado deberá participar en la ADMISIÓN para que se le asigne plaza escolar.
El alumnado de 6º de primaria de centros no adscritos o el alumnado de cualquier curso de la ESO que quiera obtener plaza en el IES Joanot Martorell deberán participar en la ADMISIÓN, para ello deben:
- Presentar su solicitud telemática del 4 al 10 de junio en la web https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/
- A partir del 21 de junio, el colegio donde está matriculado actualmente el alumno nos enviará telemáticamente si promociona o repite curso a fin de asignarle la plaza en el curso correcto. En el caso que esta información no nos llegue, recibirán un correo para que nos aporten esta documentación en papel en la Secretaría de nuestro centro.
- Listado de admitidos provisional: 11 de julio. a partir de esta fecha, podrán consultar el centro donde se le ha adjudicado el puesto escolar. Estas consultas se harán en la web https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/ o en el tablón de anuncios de nuestro centro. Pueden presentar reclamaciones telemáticas al listado provisional hasta el 15 de julio.
- Listado de admitidos definitivo: 22 de julio.
- La matrícula (entrega de documentación) del alumnado la podrán realizar de forma telemática en https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/ del 22 al 25 de julio, o bien de forma presencial en la Secretaria del centro del 22 al 26 de julio.
En el caso que no obtuviese puesto escolar en admisión ordinaria y no disponga de plaza escolar para el curso 24-25, con las vacantes resultantes se llevará a cabo una fase de admisión extraordinaria. La Conselleria nos dará instrucciones de cómo se realizará este procedimiento. Si fuese su caso, permanezca atento a la web del centro donde publicaremos las instrucciones pertinentes.
NOVEDADES CURSO 24-25:
Este curso se implanta el DISTRITO ÚNICO, esto significa que los puntos relativos al domicilio laboral o familiar son los mismos para todos los residentes de la ciudad de Valencia.
En el baremo de puntos cada centro incorpora una circunstancia especial valorada con 1 punto.
El Consejo Escolar del IES Joanot Martorell ha decido valorar con 1 punto extra al alumnado que cumpla alguna de estas circunstancias especiales: el cumplimiento de varias de estas circunstancias sumará solo 1 punto.
-Alumnado que simultanea estudios profesionales de música o danza en conservatorios.
-Alumnado que simultanea estudios en escuelas de enseñanza artística no formal de música y/o artes escénicas y que estén inscritas en el registro de centros docentes de la Comunidad Valenciana.
-Alumnado que simultanea estudios en la escuela oficial de idiomas. EOI
-Alumnado incluido en las listas de deportistas de élite, de alto nivel o de alto rendimiento, así como el personal
técnico, entrenador, arbitral y juez de élite de la Comunitat Valenciana

IN-YEAR ADMISSION FOR COMPULSORY SECONDARY EDUCATION, YEAR 1 (1 ESO)
Those Year 6 Primary students coming from primary schools assigned to IES Joanot Martorell who are willing to join our school MUST CONFIRM THEIR PLACE, that it is pre-booked for them at our institution. That confirmation is to be done at the primary school they are currently registered. These students will not take part in the In-year Admission Process. If they did it, they would incur in duplicity-
WARNING!: duplicity means both the loss of the right of taking part in the admission process and the pre-booked place at our school. These students will only get another place once the admission process is over and they would only opt for a vacant place left in any school in Valemcia.
Our assigned Primary schools will distribute an enevelope with the registration forms and an appointment to register them on site at our Secretary and Administration Office at the end of May or the beginning of June.

Year 6 Primary students coming from assigned Primary schools who do not want to do ESO 1 at IES Joanot Martorell MUST RENOUNCE TO THEIR PRE-BOOKED PLACE at our institution. This renunciation must be done at the Primary school where they are registered today. Therefore, these students will have to take part in the IN-YEAR ADMISSION process, so that they get a school place somewhere else.
Year 6 Primary students coming from non-asssigned Primary schools, or those students doing any other ESO year who intend to get a place at IES Joanot Martorell must take part in the IN-YEAR ADMISSION. In this case, they will be required to apply online at https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/ from 4 to 10 of June.
From 21 June onwards the primary school where a student is registered as today will send us a report saying if they are promoting or not, so that they will have a place granted at their corresponding year. Should this information not get us, those students will be emailed in order to provide us with the paperwork at our school’s Secretary and Administration Office.
Provisional admitted students list: 11 July. From that date on, they will be able to check the school where their school place has been granted. Checking will be available either on https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/ or at our school’s notice board. Online complaints against the provisonal admitted students list will be admitted until 15 July.
Final admitted students list: 22 July.
Student registration itself (paperwork being handed in) will be available either online at https://portal.edu.gva.es/adminova/es/inicio/ from 22 July to 25 July, or on site at the school’s Secretary and Administration Office from 22 to 26 July.
In the event a student does not obtain a place during the ordinary In-Year Admission process and does not have any school place at all for the 24-25 academic year, an extraordinary In-Year Admission process will be carried out with the resulting vacancies. Conselleria will give us instructions of the managing of this process. If such were the case, please keep an eye on our school’s website, where the corresponding instructions will be published.
NEW FEATURES FOR THIS YEAR
This year the so-called SINGLE DISTRICT will be implemented. This means that the points given concerning the family address or the workplace address will be the same for all the residents in the city of Valencia.
Each school will incorporate a particular circumstance within its point scale.
The School Council of IES Joanot Martorell has approved of granting an extra point to those students complying with these particular circumstances. The compliance to these circumstances will only account for one point.
- Students who study simultaneously at Professional Music and Dance Conservatories.
- Students who study simultaneously at non-offical art schools and/or performing arts which are registered at the Valencian Community Schools Register.
- Students who study simultaneously at the Official Languages School.
- Students who are recorded at the Top-Class Sports People Register as well as coaches, members of technical staff, referees and top umpires of the Valencian Community.
