Hi! My name is Natalia and I’m a student of Personal and Corporate Image Consulting at IES Salvador Gadea. Right now I’m doing on-the-job training in an event planning company in Malta thanks to an Erasmus scholarship.
The company where I am organises all kinds of events and my main task is to prepare all the supplies that are needed for the events. I am usually in a garage where all the decorations are kept. When there is an event, we have a list of all the supplies that we need and we prepare them. We paint, clean and organise them and then go to the place where the event is held to set them up. So far, I have been to events such as weddings, private events and even a gastronomic event. I have had the opportunity of going on a boat, seeing an opera concert, and visiting a maritime museum, among others.
The place where I am living is Mosta. Mosta is small and very quiet, and my house is only 20 minutes away from the company. I live very close to the church, which is very famous here. I always see tourists taking pictures because it’s very beautiful.
I really recommend going abroad for an Erasmus. Getting to know a different culture, meeting people, learning a language, and becoming totally independent is something that I recommend to everyone. It is an experience that you will never forget.
