Welcome to CEIP Ausiàs March, a public Infant and Primary School for children aged 3 to 12, located in Els Poblets, a small Mediterranean town on the eastern coast of Spain.
We are a close educational community with a strong European outlook. Erasmus+ is not an isolated project in our school: it is connected with our everyday work in languages, inclusion, sustainability, educational innovation, robotics, active methodologies and international cooperation.

📍 Strategically located between Valencia and Alicante
Our school is located in Els Poblets, on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, close to Dénia and approximately halfway between the cities of Valencia and Alicante.
This gives our European partners a very convenient location for mobility activities: two international airports are around one hour away by car, while the school itself offers the safety and close community atmosphere of a small Mediterranean town.

✨ A new school for 2026–2027
The 2026–2027 school year will mark an exciting new chapter for our community: we will move into our new school building.
New facilities will give us new opportunities to develop flexible learning environments, strengthen our environmental projects and continue expanding active learning, digital education, robotics, inclusion and European cooperation.

🇪🇺 Our Erasmus+ journey started in 2019
International cooperation has been part of our school development since 2019. Our first KA229 partnerships allowed pupils and teachers to discover that the classroom can extend far beyond national borders.

In our second KA229 project, coordinated by our school, pupils worked together on water, sustainability, environmental responsibility and European cooperation.

Since our first European partnerships, our pupils and teachers have taken part in learning experiences and cooperation involving schools and training activities in different European countries.

Through our Erasmus+ Accreditation we now organise and participate in pupil group mobility, Job Shadowing, teacher training, invited experts and hosting activities.

Reciprocity is central to our Erasmus+ strategy. We visit European schools, but we also open our classrooms, projects and local community to our European partners.

🌱 LIVE GREEN ERASMUS: Food, Sport and Future
One example of our hosting experience was our Erasmus Week in Spain, when pupils and teachers from Portugal and Italy joined our school community.
During the week, international groups worked together on healthy and local food, sustainability, recycling, sport, languages, culture and our local environment.
