La majoria dels voluntaris que formen part de la nostra comunitat escolar que ens ajuden amb la competència oral amb el nostre alumnat de 4t, 5é i 6é són expats (persones que viuen fora del seu país d’origen) i la procedència és majoritàriament del Regne Unit. Hi ha d’altres voluntaris que han sigut fidels voluntaris des de fa més de 5 anys però ja viuen durant més temps a Anglaterra i menys temps a la nostra comunitat. No obstant, sempre que estan en terres valencianes, estan disposats a formar part d’aquest projecte lingüístic, inclòs en la nostra línea de centre tan important per a la nostra comunitat escolar: afavorim la diversitat cultural i social i aportem estratègies comunicatives dins dels aspectes socioculturals i sociolingüístics.

Entre els més assistents tenim a Adam, Stephen, Ken and Sylvia, Lynne, Trevor, Rhoda i Amy. Rhoda, està aquest curs escolar com a auxiliar de conversa a aquest centre. Amy també ha estat amb nosaltres durant 2 mesos de voluntària i de recolzament unes hores tant en infantil com en primària. Tenim d’altres com Michael and Heather, de Gales, que només van poder assistir una vegada però van eixir molt contents amb l’experiència i a Geoff i la seva dona Sonia, de Nottingham que ja viuen la major part del temps a Anglaterra. A banda dels voluntaris natius no hem de deixar de costat als nostres voluntaris familiars. Són una part molt important per la vinculació amb els seus fills o filles en la nostra escola. Destaque a Georgina, de procedència londinense i mare de dos alumnes de primària (4t i 1r). Katerina, de procedència búlgara i mare de dos alumnes (4t i infantil 4anys), Victoria i Eugene, Odessa pares d’una alumna de 6é i d’un alumne de 2n de primària. Víctor i Elena matrimoni i pares d’un alumne de 4t. Vanesa, d’Argentina i mare de una alumna de 4t. Rachel, valenciana i mare de dos alumnes (5é i 1r) i Francesca, valenciana i mare d’una alumna de 6é.

The majority of the volunteers who take part in our school community and help us in oral competence skill with our students in 4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade are expats (people who live outside their country of origin). Most of them are from United Kingdom. Some of the volunteers have been loyal to our community and have been assisted more than 5 years. We have others that live longer in England and less time in Spain, such Geoff and Sonia from Nottingham. However, whenever they are in Valencian territory, they are willing to be part of this language project in our school: social, cultural and communication is the target for our students and for me as an English teacher. We increase cultural and social diversity and provide communication strategies.

Among the most attended we have Adam, Stephen, Ken and Sylvia, Trevor, Lynne, Rhoda and Amy. Rhoda is our language assistant this school year and Amy, she has spent several weeks with us helping out some hours. Michael and Heather from Wales, which could only come once but found the experience very satisfying. In addition of our native volunteers, we also have our family volunteers. They are a very important part of the bond with their sons and daughters in our school such as Katerina from Bulgary, mother of two students in 4 years and 4th grade. Georgina from London, mother of two students in 2nd grade and 4th grade. Victoria and Eugene Fisun, from Odessa and parents of two students, one in 2nd grade and the other in 6th grade. Francesca from the Valencian Community, mother of a student in 6th grade. Vanesa, from Argentina, mother of one student in 4th grade. Raquel from the Valencian Community and mother of two daughters in 1st and 5th grade and Víctor and Elena as a marriage from the Valencian Community as well and parents of a son in 4th grade.
