From January 19th to 23rd, a group of eight students and two teachers from IES Puçol travelled to Rome to participate in a new meeting of the Erasmus project “More Polynomials and Less PET Against Climate Change.” This initiative links mathematics education with environmental awareness through collaborative work between European schools. 

Throughout the week, the Spanish and Italian students took part in several mathematical activities involving data analysis, modelling, and reflection on plastic consumption and its environmental consequences. These activities helped them explore the role of mathematics in understanding and addressing climate change. 

The cultural programme was equally rich. The group visited some of Rome’s most iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza di Spagna, and Piazza Navona, among many other historical sites. Each outing provided a deeper insight into the city’s cultural heritage and added value to the overall educational experience. 

This mobility proved to be an academically and personally enriching experience, strengthening the connection between both institutions and highlighting the importance of international cooperation in students’ education. 

Del 19 al 23 de gener, un grup format per huit alumnes i dos professors de l’IES Puçol va viatjar a Roma per a participar en una nova trobada del projecte Erasmus “Más polinomis i menys PET contra el canvi climàtic”, que unix l’educació matemàtica amb la conscienciació ambiental.  

Durant l’estada, les participants van desenrotllar diverses activitats matemàtiques centrades en l’anàlisi de dades, modelització i reflexió sobre l’ús del plàstic i les seues alternatives. Estes dinàmiques van permetre aprofundir en l’impacte del consum de materials PET i en el paper de les matemàtiques per a comprendre i actuar enfront del canvi climàtic.  

El programa cultural va ser igualment intens i enriquidor. El grup va visitar alguns dels llocs més emblemàtics de Roma, com el Coliseu, el Fòrum Romà, la Plaça d’Espanya i la Plaça Navona, a més d’altres racons històrics de la ciutat eterna. Cada visita va ser una oportunitat per a descobrir la riquesa cultural i patrimonial de Roma, reforçant el component formatiu del projecte.  

L’intercanvi va suposar una vivència acadèmica i humana de gran valor, que va enfortir encara més els llaços creats en la mobilitat de Puçol entre els dos centres educatius i va reafirmar la importància dels projectes internacionals en el desenvolupament personal i acadèmic de l’alumnat. 

From November 17th to 21st, two teachers from IIS Papareschi in Rome visited IES Puçol to take part in a job-shadowing experience, strengthening the educational collaboration between the two institutions. 

Throughout the week, the visiting teachers had the opportunity to explore the wide range of educational projects and initiatives implemented at IES Puçol. They also attended various lessons as observers, gaining insight into classroom practices in subjects such as Economics, Biology, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, as well as sessions held with PMAR and PDC. This provided them with a comprehensive understanding of the school’s teaching methodology and day-to-day functioning. 

The visit took place in an atmosphere of collaboration, professional curiosity, and shared learning. IES Puçol wishes to express its special thanks to all the teachers involved, whose warm welcome, dedication, and constant support made this experience both productive and meaningful for the visitors. 

This job-shadowing activity further strengthens the ties between both schools and highlights the value of professional exchange in improving educational practice. 

Del 17 al 21 de novembre, dues professores de l ‘IIS Papareschi de Roma van visitar l’IES Puçol per a dur a terme una experiència d’aprenentatge per observació (Job-shadowing) en el marc de la col·laboració educativa entre els dos centres.  

Durant la seua estada, van tindre l’oportunitat de conéixer en profunditat els projectes educatius i pedagògics que es desenvolupen a l’IES Puçol. Les professores van assistir també com a observadores a diverses classes de diferents matèries, incloent-hi Economia, Biologia, Matemàtiques, Física i Química i també sessions amb grups especials, la qual cosa els va permetre conéixer de primera mà la metodologia docent i la dinàmica diària del centre.  

La visita va transcórrer en un ambient de col·laboració, interés mutu i enriquiment professional. Des de l’IES Puçol es vol expressar un agraïment especial a tot el professorat implicat, l’acolliment del qual, dedicació i disponibilitat van fer possible que esta experiència fora altament profitosa i significativa per a les professores visitants.  

Esta estada reforça els llaços entre els dos centres i subratlla el valor de l’intercanvi professional en la millora de la pràctica educativa. 

The second part of the LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER project with the Friedich-List-Gymnasium in Asperg (Germany) took place between November 13-20, where the group of 15 students traveled with their teachers with the aim of promoting cultural and educational exchange between the two countries.  
 
Through collaborative activities they explored their culture, the relationship between sport and art and discovered the beauty of natural spaces.

La segona part del projecte LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER amb el centre Friedich-List-Gymnasium d’Asperg (Alemanya) es va realitzar entre el 13-20 de novembre, on el grup de 15 estudiants van viatjar amb les seues professores amb l’objectiu fomentar l’intercanvi cultural i educatiu entre els dos països.   

A través d’activitats col·laboratives van explorar la seua cultura, la relació de l’esport i l’art i van descobrir la bellesa dels espais naturals.

Ha estat una experiència molt motivadora per al nostre alumnat. 

From November 10th to 14th, our school welcomed a group of students and two teachers from IIS Papareschi in Rome, who participated in a dynamic and enriching week of collaborative work as part of the project “POLYNOMIAL +, PET-, AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE´.The initiative goal is the promotion of environmental awareness through mathematics and strengthening cooperation among European schools. One of the most remarkable aspects of the visit was the excellent harmony among the students creating an atmosphere of teamwork, friendship, and eagerness to learn. 

Throughout their stay, participants engaged in mathematical activities focused on modelling, recycling, and analyzing the use and impact of plastic materials—an ideal way to explore environmental issues through scientific tools. 

The program also featured several cultural outings. The group visited l’Albufera, where they discovered the natural richness of the ecosystem and reflected on the importance of environmental preservation. They also toured the City of Arts and Sciences, and attended at the Hemisfèric a screening dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci, followed by an exploration of the related exhibition. 

The visit concluded with a day spent in Valencia’s historic centre, where the group had the unique opportunity to witness a live session of the Tribunal de las Aguas, one of Europe’s oldest judicial institutions and recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. 

This exchange proved to be a deeply valuable cultural, academic, and human experience, strengthening the ties between the two educational communities and reaffirming the importance of international collaboration in student learning. 

Del 10 al 14 de novembre, el nostre centre va acollir a un grup de huit estudiants i dos professors de l’IIS Papareschi de Roma, que van participar en una intensa i enriquidora setmana de treball conjunt dins del projecte “Més polinomis i menys PET en la lluita contra el canvi climàtic”. L’objectiu del projecte eTwinning és promoure la consciència ambiental a través de les matemàtiques, i fomentar la col·laboració entre centres educatius europeus. Un dels aspectes més destacats de la visita va ser l‘excel·lent harmonia entre l’alumnat participant creant un ambient de convivència, amistat, cooperació i entusiasme per aprendre.  

Durant la seua estada, es van desenvolupar diverses activitats matemàtiques vinculades a la modelització, el reciclatge i l’ús de materials plàstics, ideals per aprofundir en l’impacte ambiental i les possibles solucions que oferix la ciència.  

El programa també va incloure diverses eixides culturals. El grup va visitar l’Albufera, on va poder apreciar la riquesa natural de l’entorn i reflexionar sobre la importància de preservar els ecosistemes. Així mateix, van recórrer la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències i van assistir en l’ Hemisfèric a la projecció dedicada a Leonardo da Vinci, complementada amb un recorregut per l’exposició dedicada al geni renaixentista.  

La visita va culminar amb una jornada en el centre històric de València, on el grup va tindre l’oportunitat de presenciar en directe una sessió del Tribunal de les Aigües, una de les institucions jurídiques més antigues d’Europa i Patrimoni Cultural Immaterial de la Humanitat.  

L’experiència va suposar un intercanvi cultural, acadèmic i humà de gran valor, que va enfortir els llaços entre les dos comunitats educatives i va reafirmar el paper de la cooperació internacional en la formació de l’alumnat. 

IES Puçol has organised various activities to celebrate #ErasmusDays 2025. This year, from 13 to 18 October, the following activities were carried out:  

•  Informative talks for ESO students with the aim of expanding the ERASMUS+ student ambassador community.  

•  Informative talks for first-year Baccalaureate students about long-term stays in Finland.  

•  Creation of a collaborative mural with students wishing to join the ambassador club, showcasing the six values of the European Union based on: human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and human rights.   

•  Locating on a map of Europe the countries with which we have worked on Erasmus+ projects.  

CELEBRANT ERASMUS DAYS 2025 

L’IES Puçol ha organitzat diverses activitats per celebrar #ErasmusDays 2025. Enguany ha sigut la setmana del 13 al 18 d’octubre on es varen realitzar les següents activitats: 

• Xarrades informatives per a l’alumnat d’ESO amb la intenció de fer més gran la comunitat d’alumnat ambaixador d’ERASMUS+. 

• Xarrades informatives a l’alumnat de primer de Batxillerat de les estades de llarga durada a Finlàndia. 

• Realització d’un mural col·laboratiu amb l’alumnat que vol incorporar-se al club d’ambaixador on es mostraren els sis valors de la Unió Europea basats en: dignitat humana, llibertat, democràcia, igualtat, estat de dret i drets humans.  

• Localització al mapa d’Europa dels països amb els quals hem treballat en projectes Erasmus+. 

1st and 3rd October  we welcomed visitors from the Linz Institute in Austria. Twelve students came to learn about our centre and visit Valencia, its surroundings, the Albufera and the City of Arts and Sciences.   

They visited some of our classes and participated in the creation of a mural on healthy eating. 

L’1 i 3 d’octubre setmana hem rebut la visita de l’institut del Linz a Àustria. Han vingut dotze alumnes per a conéixer el nostre centre i visitar València, els seus voltants, l’Albufera i la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.  

Al nostre centre han entrat a algunes de les nostres classes i participat en l’elaboració del mural sobre alimentació saludable. 

On 26 September 2025 our centre celebrated the European Day of Languages, organising various activities aimed at promoting the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe.  

 The following activities were carried out:  

•  Activity 1: Performance in the Agora of the European Anthem and the Anthem for the European Day of Languages by the Music students and teachers, becoming European civic ambassadors, one of the objectives of our ERASMUS accreditation.  

•  Activity 2: Art competition ‘Languages Open Hearts and Minds!’ 4th year secondary school students taking part in the eTwinning project POLYNOMIAL +, PET – AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE designed posters related to this theme.   

DIA EUROPEU DE LES LLENGÜES 2025 

El passat 26 de setembre de 2025 es va celebrar al nostre centre el DIA EUROPEU DE LES LLENGÜES, preparant diferents activitats que tractaren de promoure la diversitat lingüística i cultural d’Europa. 

Es varen dur a terme les següents activitats: 

• Activitat 1: Interpretació a l’Àgora de l’HIMNE EUROPEU i de l’Himne del Dia Europeu de les Llengües  per part de l’alumnat i professorat de Música, convertint-se ne Ambaixadors cívics europeus, un dels objectius de la nostra acreditació ERASMUS. 

• Activitat 2: CERTAMEN ARTÍSTIC “ELS IDIOMES OBRIN CORS I MENTS!”, l’alumnat de 4t d’ESO que participa en el projecte eTwinning  POLYNOMIAL +, PET- AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE varen dissenyar cartells relacionats amb aquest lema.  

From 11 to 15 August, Professor Eduardo Rodríguez visited Budapest to attend a course on Artificial Intelligence, “Empowering educators: Leveraging AI Services for Enhanced Teaching and Learning” at the Babilon Erasmus Academy. The course provided an excellent opportunity to explore artificial intelligence-based services designed to optimise our work in the classroom. In addition to helping with lesson planning and preparation, it delved into tools designed to improve student support in an effective manner. Harnessing the power of artificial intelligence, applications in the organisation of adaptive learning, differentiation and the development of personalised learning pathways were explored. Adapting these innovative practices to a real-world context will allow us to integrate this practical support into our teaching routine in the Erasmus+ projects developed at IES PUÇOL. 

De l’11 al 15 d’agost el professor Eduardo Rodríguez ha visitat Budapest per a realitzar un curs sobre Intel·ligència Artificial, “Empowering educators: Leveraging AI Services for Enhanced Teaching and Learning” en el centre Babilon Erasmus Academy. El curs ha suposat una excel·lent oportunitat per a explorar els servicis basats en la intel·ligència artificial dissenyats per a optimitzar el nostre treball a l’aula. A més d’ajudar en la planificació i preparació de les classes, s’ha aprofundit en ferramentes dissenyades per a millorar el suport a l’alumnat de manera eficaç. Aprofitant el poder de la intel·ligència artificial s’han explorat aplicacions en l’organització de l’aprenentatge adaptatiu, la diferenciació i el desenvolupament d’itineraris d’aprenentatge personalitzats. Adaptar estes pràctiques innovadores a un context real ens permetrà integrar este suport pràctic en la nostra rutina docent en els projectes Erasmus+ desenvolupats en l’IES PUÇOL. 

IES Puçol, as an accredited eTwinning school, is participating in the 3rd National Conference of eTwinning Centres, ‘Building Citizenship’, which is being held on 20 and 21 June in Madrid, organised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. This is a meeting for the exchange of good practices between centres, with inspiring presentations and dynamic, collaborative workshops. 

L’IES Puçol com a escola eTwinning acreditada participa a la III Conferència Nacional Centres eTwinning “Construint Ciutadania” que se celebra el 20 i 21 de juny a Madrid organitzada pel Ministeri d’Educació, Cultura i Esports 

Una trobada d´intercanvi de bones pràctiques entre centres amb ponències inspiradores i tallers dinàmics i col·laboratius. 

On 11 April 2025, diplomas were awarded to the pupils participating in the eTwinning projects which have been awarded the National Quality Label Erasmus. The eTwinning projects awarded this year are the following: Dream in Green: smart solutions for our schools, North2South: digitalizing for a sustainable and inclusive Europe 5.0 and Respect: a journey in the world of rules.

L’ 11 d’ abril de 2025 es va fer entrega de diplomes a l’alumnat participant en els projectes eTwinning que han sigut premiats amb la National Quality Label Erasmus. Els projectes eTwinning premiats este any són els següents: Dream in Green: smart solutions for our schools, North2South: digitalizing for a sustainable and inclusive Europe 5.0 i Respect: a journey in the world of rules.

From 2 to 4 April, teachers Eduardo Rodríguez and Santi Roca from IES Puçol have developed a Job Shadowing in the framework of the Eramus+ accreditation with the Via dei Papareschi school in Rome. Students from both schools will participate in a project to work mathematics and technology in problem solving, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (POLYNOMIAL +, PET- AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE).

Polynomials and algebra, as well as the rest of mathematics, together with technological knowledge, innovation and digital competence, are key tools in the fight against today’s serious environmental problem of plastic waste management.

Among the objectives of this training are:

– Raise awareness of the importance of mathematics and technology in solving everyday problems.

– To increase students’ motivation towards STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics).

– Working in collaborative environments and fostering pupils’ creativity and digital competence.

– To create environmental awareness by improving the school’s educational spaces.

– Improve communication skills among peers from different countries.

Our accompanying teacher in Rome, Loredana Catarinozzi, has offered us a warm welcome together with the school principal Mrs Paola Palmegiani.

We hope to implement this project with students from both schools and with the collaboration of the Mathematics and Technology departments during the academic year 2025_2026.

Del 2 al 4 d’ abril, els professors Eduardo Rodríguez i Santi Roca de l’ IES Puçol han realitzat un Job Shadowing en el marc de l’ acreditación Eramus+ amb el col·legi Via dei Papareschi de Roma. Alumnnat d’ ambdós centres participaran en un projecte per treballar les matemàtiques i la tecnologia en la resolució de problemes, i assolir els objectius de desenvolupament sostenible (POLYNOMIAL +, PET- AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE).

Els polinomis i l’ àlgebra, així com la resta de les matemàtiques, junt amb el coneixement tecnològic, la innovació i la competència digital, són eines clau en la lluita contra el greu problema mediambiental actual de la gestió dels residus plàstics.

Entre els objectius d’ esta formació es troben:

– Sensibilitzar sobre la importància de les matemàtiques i la tecnologia en la resolució de problemes quotidians.

– Augmentar la motivació de l’alumnat cap a les assignatures STEAM (Ciència, Tecnologia, Enginyeria, Art i Matemàtiques).

– Treballar en entorns col·laboratius i fomentar la creativitat i competència digital de l’ alumnat.

– Crear conciència mediambiental millorant els espais educatius del centre.

– Millorar les habilitats de comunicació entre companys de diferents països.

La nostra professora acompanyant en Roma, Loredana Catarinozzi ens ha oferit una càlida acollida junt a la directora del centre Mrs Paola Palmegiani.

Esperem durant el curs 2025_2026 ficar en funcionament este projecte junt a alumnat d’ ambdós centres i amb la col·laboració dels departaments de Matemàtiques i Tecnologia.

Students from the European Civic Ambassadors Club at IES Puçol participated in the latest edition of the Europass 2024 School Competition, ‘Boost your Employability with the Europass Digital Tools,’ which coincided with the 20th anniversary of the National Europass Portal and aimed to raise awareness of the platform.   

Participation consisted of editing a video explaining the digital tools of the Europass portal and the employability options that Europass offers in their future.  

After a long wait, the list of finalist videos was published, and among them was the video by 1st year Baccalaureate students Anyi Belly Hurtado and Candela Alejos.

 Alumnat del Club d’Ambaixadors Cívics Europeus de l’IES Puçol va participar en l’última edició del Concurs Escolar Europass 2024 “Impulsa la teua Ocupabilitat amb les Ferramentes Digitals de Europass” / “Boost your Employability with the Europass Digital Tools”, que va coincidir amb el 20é aniversari del Portal Nacional Europass i l’objectiu del qual era donar major difusió a la plataforma. 

La participació consistia en l’edició d’un vídeo en el qual explicaren les ferramentes digitals del portal Europass i les opcions d’ocupabilitat que oferix Europass en el seu futur pròxim.  

Després d’una llarga espera, es va publicar la llista dels vídeos finalistes i entre ells es trobava el vídeo de les alumnes de 1r Batxillerat, Anyi Belly Hurtado i Candela Alejos.  

ENHORABONA PEL VOSTRE GRAN TREBALL! 👏 

During this academic year, 15 students from IES Puçol travelled to Yläston Koulu secondary school in the city of Vantaa (Finland) to launch the Finnish and Spanish Sustainable Cities international project. As part of this exchange, we welcomed 17 Finnish students to our school, who shared an enriching academic and cultural experience with us.  

In addition to working on the aforementioned project, the visiting students had the opportunity to visit the facilities at IES Puçol and participate in different classes, discovering new ways of teaching and learning. The stay also included various social activities, including ice-breaking exercises, a meal featuring typical Spanish products prepared by the families, and several excursions to discover the cultural richness of our surroundings.  

Our guests were able to tour the historic centre of Valencia, visit the City of Arts and Sciences, and enjoy a day of paddle surfing, a unique and fun sporting experience that allowed them to connect even more with our Mediterranean environment.  

 This exchange has been a valuable learning and international cooperation experience, allowing both our students and their Finnish counterparts to grow personally and academically, strengthen ties and reinforce their commitment to a more sustainable future. 

Visita de l’alumnat finés a l’IES Puçol dins del projecte Finnish and Spanish Sustainable Cities  

Durant aquest curs, 15 alumnes de l’ IES Puçol van viatjar a l’institut Yläston Koulu, a la ciutat de Vantaa (Finlàndia), per a donar principi al projecte internacional Finnish and Spanish Sustainable Cities. Com a part d’aquest intercanvi, rebem l nostre centre a 17 estudiants finesos, que van compartir amb nosaltres una enriquidora experiència acadèmica i cultural. 

A més de treballar en el citat projecte, l’alumnat visitant va tindre l’oportunitat de conéixer les instal·lacions de l’IES Puçol i participar en diferents classes, descobrint així noves formes d’ensenyança i aprenentatge. L’estada va incloure també diverses activitats de convivència, entre les quals van destacar les dinàmiques de presentació ice-breaking, un menjar amb productes típics espanyols elaborats per les famílies i diverses excursions per a descobrir la riquesa cultural del nostre entorn. 

Els nostres convidats van poder recórrer el centre històric de València, visitar la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències i gaudir d’una jornada de pàdel surf, una experiència esportiva diferent i molt divertida que els va permetre connectar encara més amb el nostre entorn mediterrani.  

IES Puçol participated in the eTwinning Conference: Strengthening citizenship education in eTwinning schools, held in Nice, France, on 16 and 17 May. This was an international event aimed at integrating civic and democratic education into the classroom through eTwinning-Erasmus projects.

A new project has been launched at IES Puçol with the Friedrich-List-Gymnasium school in Asperg, Germany: LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER. During the week of May 7-14, fifteen students and their teachers visited us with the aim of promoting cultural and educational exchange between students from both countries.  

Through collaborative activities, they explored our culture, the relationship between sport and art, and discovered the beauty of natural spaces.

Un nou projecte s’ha iniciat en IES Puçol amb el centre Friedich-List-Gymnasium de Asperg, Alemanya: LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER. Thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, we had the opportunity to take part in a three-week exchange trip to Finland, which was a very interesting experience and provided us with invaluable knowledge in different areas.  

Not only did we learn to adapt to an environment so different from what we are used to, as Finland is such a different country from Spain, but we also had the opportunity to discover a very different culture, landscapes and way of life that have broadened our horizons. 

We visited a secondary school called Järvenpään lukio, where we were surprised to see the different educational system, which is much more technological and independent, and we met people not only from Finland, but also from all over the world.  

We had the opportunity to visit the capital, Helsinki, and other surrounding towns, visit lakes and forests, and even experience the famous Finnish saunas. We also tried typical Finnish food, such as salmon soup, reindeer meat and chocolate. 

Finally, this mobility programme has helped us practise our English and improve our pronunciation, make new friends, learn about a new way of life and a different culture, and share our own. 

We are very grateful to have been able to participate in this exchange and hope that other students will be encouraged to try it, as there is no better way to learn about a place than by going there and experiencing it for yourself.  

Gràcies al programa Erasmus+, vam tenir l’oportunitat de participar en un intercanvi de tres setmanes a Finlàndia des del 19 d’abril de 2024, que va ser una experiència molt interessant i ens va proporcionar coneixements inavaluables en diferents àmbits.  

No només vam aprendre a adaptar-nos a un entorn tan diferent del que estem acostumats, ja que Finlàndia és un país molt diferent d’Espanya, sinó que també vam tenir l’oportunitat de descobrir una cultura, uns paisatges i un estil de vida molt diferents que ens han ampliat els horitzons. 

Vam visitar un institut anomenat Järvenpään lukio, on ens va sorprendre veure el sistema educatiu diferent, molt més tecnològic i independent, i vam conèixer gent no només de Finlàndia, sinó de tot el món.  

Vam tenir l’oportunitat de visitar la capital, Hèlsinki, i altres pobles dels voltants, visitar llacs i boscos, i fins i tot experimentar les famoses saunes finlandeses. També vam tastar menjar típic finlandès, com la sopa de salmó, la carn de ren i la xocolata. 

Finalment, aquest programa de mobilitat ens ha ajudat a practicar l’anglès i a millorar la pronunciació, a fer nous amics, a conèixer una nova manera de viure i una cultura diferent, i a compartir la nostra. 

 Estem molt agraïts d’haver pogut participar en aquest intercanvi i esperem que altres estudiants s’animen a provar-lo, ja que no hi ha millor manera de conèixer un lloc que anar-hi i viure’l en primera persona.  

  

• The coordinators attended at the First Meeting for Educational Internationalisation, organised by the European Use, Promotion and Programmes Service of the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment of the Valencian Regional Government, and our director received the certificate accrediting us as an eTwinning School for another two years.  

•  And with our colleagues from the Friedrich List Gymnasium in Asperg (Germany) from the Erasmus project: Life, Feel and Discover on the second day of group mobility visiting the historic centre of Valencia.

• Les coordinadores assistiren a la I Trobada per a la Internacionalització Educativa, organitzat pel Servici d’Ús, Promoció i Programes Europeus de la Conselleria d’Educació, Cultura, Universitats i Ocupació de la Generalitat Valenciana i el nostre director va arreplegar la certificació que ens acredita dos anys més com a Escola eTwinning. 

• I amb els nostres companys del Friedrich List Gymnasium d’ Asperg (Alemanya) del projecte Erasmus: Life, Feel *and *Discover en el segon dia de la mobilitat en grup visitant el centre històric de València. 

From 30th March to 3rd April, the teachers of IES Puçol Carmina Margaix and Mª José Claramunt have carried out a Job Shadowing at the Collège Florimond Robertet in the village of Brou, near Chartres, France.

The aim of our visit was to launch the interdisciplinary ERASMUS project called ‘Consonant voices’, this project is based on the musical participation of the orchestra of the IES Puçol in a concert shared with the choir of the French institute of Brou, in which songs and songs will be performed in different languages. It is a project of the Music Department and the Foreign Languages Department to perform in both countries the final concert prepared throughout the 25/26 school year by each school. In this way, our students will learn about folk music, culture and different languages through an experience of linguistic and musical immersion. The ages of the students will range from 11 to 14 years old.

Our accompanying teacher in Brou, Celia Novell, gave us a tour of the different classrooms in which we enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere and a great calm all around. The students were exceptional, showing themselves to be very friendly and respectful of our presence. We were also able to share a singing lesson with our collaborating teacher Noe Montani from the Music Department.

In addition, we must add the warm welcome shown by the director Severine Gawlowicz and the Erasmus coordinator Isabelle Dumas, who showed great interest in the project we want to carry out.

We can only thank our accompanying teachers for the attention they have given us throughout our visit, which has allowed us to take the first steps of what will be our project: ‘Consonant voices’.

Dels dies 30 de març al 3 d’abril, les professores de l’IES Puçol Carmina Margaix i Mª José Claramunt hem dut a terme un Job Shadowing en el Collège Florimond Robertet al poble de Brou, prop de Chartres, a França.  

L’objectiu de la nostra visita ha sigut ficar en marxa el projecte interdisciplinari d’ ERASMUS anomenat “Consonant voices”, este projecte es basa en la participació musical de l’orquestra de l’IES Puçol en un concert compartit amb el cor de l’institut francès de Brou, en la que s’interpretaran peces i cançons en diferents idiomes. Es un projecte del Departament de Música i els de Llengües Estrangeres per a interpretar en els dos països el concert final preparat durant tot el curs 25/26 per cada institut. D’aquesta manera, els nostres alumnes aprendran sobre la música folklòrica, la cultura i les diferents llengües a través d’una experiència d’ immersió lingüística i musical. Les edats dels alumes anirà des dels11 als 14 anys. 

La nostra professora acompanyant en Brou, Celia Novell, ens va fer una visita per les diferents aules en la qual vàrem gaudir d’un ambient tranquil i una gran calma per tot arreu. L’alumnat va ser excepcional, mostrant-se molt proper i respectuós amb la nostra presència. Així mateix, poguérem compartir la classe de cant del nostre professor col·laborador Noe Montani del Departament de Música. 

Hem d’afegir a més, l’acolliment proper que ens va mostrar la directora Severine Gawlowicz, i la coordinadora Erasmus Isabelle Dumas, presentant un gran interès amb el projecte que volem dur endavant. 

No podem més que agrair als nostres professors acompanyants l’atenció que ens han brindat al llarg de la nostra visita i que ens ha permès donar els primers passos del que serà el nostre projecte: “Consonant voices” 

From 24th to 29th March nine students from our school travelled to Linz (Austria) to visit the BRG Hamerling high school as part of the Erasmus project The Art of Sport.  

During their stay they discovered the local culture and gastronomy and had the opportunity to visit spectacular cities such as Salzburg and Vienna. In addition, they worked on a project inspired by Erwin Wurm, an Austrian sculptor known for documenting his works through photography.  

A unique experience to grow, learn and share. 

Del 24 al 29 de març nou alumnes del nostre centre van viatjar a Linz per visitar l’institut BRG Hamerling dins del projecte Erasmus The Art of Sport. 

Durant la seua estada varen descobrir la cultura i gastronomia local i varen tindre l’oportunitat de visitar ciutats espectaculars com Salzburgo i Viena. A més a més, varen treballar en un projecte inspirat per Erwin Wurn, un escultor austríac conegut per documentar les seves obres a través de la fotografia. 

During the week of 26- 31 January, students participating in the eTwinning project Spanish and Finnish Sustainable Development  with their two teachers have visited the educational centre Ylästön Koulu (Vantaa, Finland).   

Students from the two high schools, in international groups, have been working and at the same time having fun doing activities related to sustainable cities and the transformation of cities into eco-friendly ones.  

 Workshops at the school:  

•  Ice-breaker activities to get to know each other better.  

• Sport activities to promote team building. 

• Designing the logo of the project.  

• Start working on the project to be continued once they come to our school.  

 Cultural visits: 

•  Visit to the capital of Finland, Helsinki 

Durant la setmana del 26 al 31 de gener, l’alumnat que participa al projecte eTwinning Spanish and Finnish Sustainable Development amb els seus dos professors ha visitat el centre educatiu Ylästön Koulu (Vantaa, Finlàndia).  
 
Els estudiants dels dos instituts, en grups internacionals, han treballat i alhora divertit fent activitats relacionades amb ciutats sostenibles i la transformació de ciutats en ciutats eco-friendly.  
 
Tallers a l’institut:  
 

• Activitats de trencar el gel per conèixer-se millor. 

• Activitats esportives per promoure equip. 

• Dissenyar el logotip del projecte. 

• Començar a treballar amb el projecte que es continuarà en quan vinguen al nostre centre.  

Visites culturals: 

• Visitar la capital de Finlàndia, Helsinki.
