IES Puçol participated in the eTwinning Conference: Strengthening citizenship education in eTwinning schools, held in Nice, France, on 16 and 17 May. This was an international event aimed at integrating civic and democratic education into the classroom through eTwinning-Erasmus projects. 

 We continue to gain European experience! 

El IES Puçol ha participado en la Conferencia eTwinning: Stregthening citizenship education in eTwinning schools, celebrada en Niza, Francia, los días 16 y 17 de mayo.. Un evento internacional para integrar la educación cívica y democrática en el aula a través de los proyectos eTwinning –Erasmus. 

¡Continuamos sumando experiencias Europeas! 

A new project has been launched at IES Puçol with the Friedrich-List-Gymnasium school in Asperg, Germany: LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER. During the week of May 7-14, fifteen students and their teachers visited us with the aim of promoting cultural and educational exchange between students from both countries.  

Through collaborative activities, they explored our culture, the relationship between sport and art, and discovered the beauty of natural spaces.  

• Visit to the Albufera Natural Park  

• Visit to the Faller Museum  

• Tour of Valencia: historic center and modern part of the city, City of Arts and Sciences, while celebrating Europe Day.  

• Workshops at the school:  

• Presentations on the culture of Puçol and Valencia  

• Digital magazine with everything that was done during the week 

Un nuevo proyecto se ha iniciado en IES Puçol con el centro Friedich-List-Gymnasium de Asperg, Alemania: LIFE, FEEL, DISCOVER. Durante la a semana del 7 al 14 de mayo nos visitaron 15 estudiantes con sus profesoras con el objetivo fomentar el intercambio cultural y educativo entre el alumando de ambos países. 

A través de actividades colaborativas exploraron nuestra cultura, la relación del deporte y el arte y descubrieron la belleza de los espacios naturales. 

• Visita al parque natural de la Albufera 

• Visita al Museu Faller 

• Tour en Valencia: centro histórico y la parte moderna, Ciudad de las Ciencias y las Artes, mientras celebraban el día de Europa. 

• Talleres en el instituto:  

• Presentaciones sobre la cultura de Puçol y Valencia 

• Revista digital con todo lo realizado durante la semana 

• The coordinators attended at the First Meeting for Educational Internationalisation, organised by the European Use, Promotion and Programmes Service of the Regional Ministry of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment of the Valencian Regional Government, and our director received the certificate accrediting us as an eTwinning School for another two years.  

•  And with our colleagues from the Friedrich List Gymnasium in Asperg (Germany) from the Erasmus project: Life, Feel and Discover on the second day of group mobility visiting the historic centre of Valencia.  

IES Puçol celebra el viernes 9 de mayo el Día de Europa por partida doble: 

• Las coordinadoras asistieron al I Encuentro para la Internacionalización Educativa, organizado por el Servicio de Uso, Promoción y Programas Europeos de la Conselleria de Educación, Cultura, Universidades y Empleo de la Generalitat Valenciana y nuestro director recogió la certificación que nos acredita dos años más como Escuela eTwinning. 

• Y con nuestros compañeros del Friedrich List Gymnasium de Asperg (Alemania) del proyecto Erasmus: Life, Feel and Discover en el segundo día de la movilidad en grupo visitando el centro histórico de Valencia. 

From 30th March to 3rd April, the teachers of IES Puçol Carmina Margaix and Mª José Claramunt have carried out a Job Shadowing at the Collège Florimond Robertet in the village of Brou, near Chartres, France.   

The aim of our visit was to launch the interdisciplinary ERASMUS project called ‘Consonant voices’, this project is based on the musical participation of the orchestra of the IES Puçol in a concert shared with the choir of the French institute of Brou, in which songs and songs will be performed in different languages. It is a project of the Music Department and the Foreign Languages Department to perform in both countries the final concert prepared throughout the 25/26 school year by each school. In this way, our students will learn about folk music, culture and different languages through an experience of linguistic and musical immersion. The ages of the students will range from 11 to 14 years old. 

Our accompanying teacher in Brou, Celia Novell, gave us a tour of the different classrooms in which we enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere and a great calm all around. The students were exceptional, showing themselves to be very friendly and respectful of our presence. We were also able to share a singing lesson with our collaborating teacher Noe Montani from the Music Department.  

In addition, we must add the warm welcome shown by the director Severine Gawlowicz and the Erasmus coordinator Isabelle Dumas, who showed great interest in the project we want to carry out.  

We can only thank our accompanying teachers for the attention they have given us throughout our visit, which has allowed us to take the first steps of what will be our project: ‘Consonant voices’. 

De los días 30 de marzo al 3 de abril, las profesoras del IES Puçol Carmina Margaix y Mª José Claramunt hemos llevado a cabo un Job Shadowing en el Collège Florimond Robertet en el pueblo de Brou, cerca de Chartres, en Francia.   
 
El objetivo de nuestra visita ha sido poner en marcha el proyecto interdisciplinario de ERASMUS llamado “Consonant voices”, este proyecto se basa en la participación musical de la orquesta del IES Puçol en un concierto compartido con el coro del instituto francés de Brou, en la que se interpretarán piezas y canciones en diferentes idiomas. Es un proyecto del Departamento de Música y de Lenguas Extranjeras para interpretar en ambos países el concierto final preparado durante todo el curso 25/26 por cada instituto. De esta forma, nuestros alumnos aprenderán sobre la música folclórica, la cultura y las diferentes lenguas a través de una experiencia de inmersión lingüística y musical. Las edades de los alumnos irán desde los 11 a los 14 años. 

Nuestra profesora acompañante en Brou, Celia Novell, nos hizo una visita por las diferentes aulas en la cual disfrutamos de un ambiente tranquilo y una gran calma por todas partes. El alumnado fue excepcional, mostrándose muy próximo y respetuoso con nuestra presencia. Así mismo, pudimos compartir la clase de canto de nuestro profesor colaborador Noe Montani del Departamento de Música.  

Hemos de añadir además, la acogida cercana que nos mostró la directora Severine Gawlowicz, y la coordinadora Erasmus Isabelle Dumas, presentando un gran interés con el proyecto que queremos llevar adelante.  

No podemos más que agradecer a nuestros profesores acompañantes la atención que nos han brindado a lo largo de nuestra visita y que nos ha permitido dar los primeros pasos del que será nuestro proyecto: «Consonante voices«. 

From 24th to 29th March nine students from our school travelled to Linz (Austria) to visit the BRG Hamerling high school as part of the Erasmus project The Art of Sport.  

During their stay they discovered the local culture and gastronomy and had the opportunity to visit spectacular cities such as Salzburg and Vienna. In addition, they worked on a project inspired by Erwin Wurm, an Austrian sculptor known for documenting his works through photography.  

A unique experience to grow, learn and share.

Del 24 al 29 de marzo nueve alumnas de nuestro centro, viajaron a Linz (Austria) para visitar el instituto BRG Hamerling dins del projecte Erasmus  The Art of Sport. 

Durante su estancia descubrieron la cultura y gastronomía local y tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar ciudades espectaculares como Salzburgo y Viena. Además, trabajaron en un proyecto inspirado por Erwin Wurm, un escultor austriaco conocido por documentar sus obras a través de la fotografía. 

Una experiencia única para crecer, aprender y compartir. 

During the week of 26- 31 January, students participating in the eTwinning project Spanish and Finnish Sustainable Development  with their two teachers have visited the educational centre Ylästön Koulu (Vantaa, Finland).   

Students from the two high schools, in international groups, have been working and at the same time having fun doing activities related to sustainable cities and the transformation of cities into eco-friendly ones.  

 Workshops at the school:  

•  Ice-breaker activities to get to know each other better.  

• Sport activities to promote team building. 

• Designing the logo of the project.  

• Start working on the project to be continued once they come to our school.  

 Cultural visits: 

•  Visit to the capital of Finland, Helsinki 

Durante la semana del 26 al 31 de enero, el alumnado que participa en el proyecto eTwinning Spanish and Finnish Sustainable Development con sus dos profesores ha visitado el centro educativo Ylästön Koulu (Vantaa, Finlandia). 

Los estudiantes de los dos institutos, en grupos internacionales, han trabajado y a la vez divertido realizando actividades relacionadas con ciudades sostenibles y la transformación de ciudades en ciudades eco-friendly. 

Talleres en el instituto: 

• Actividades de romper el hielo para conocerse mejor. 

• Actividades deportivas para promover equipo. 

• Diseñar el logo del proyecto. 

• Empezar a trabajar con el proyecto que se continuará una vez vengan a nuestro centro. 

Visitas culturales: 

• Visitar la capital de Finlandia, Helsinki.
