Mes: maig de 2023

Thursday was a day of work in the ICT classrooms to give shape to their ideas, show their concerns and generate solutions. But not everything was academic training activities, that same day we enjoyed a Bongos workshop and a party in the garden where we planted different crops to promote their consumption with recipes and tips that were accessed with generated QR codes, we completed nutritional pyramids, we learned about climate diet and enjoyed fruit smoothies.  And the final touch, as is traditional in Valencia, was the tasting of paella. 

El dijous, dia de treball a les aules TIC per a donar forma a les seues idees, mostrar les seues preocupacions i generar solucions. Però no tot han sigut activitats de formació acadèmica, aquest mateix dia gaudírem d’un taller de Bongos i una festa en l’Hort on vam plantar diferents cultius per a fomentar el seu consum amb receptes i consells als quals s’accedia amb codis QR, vam completar piràmides nutricionals, vam aprendre sobre dieta climatariana i gaudírem de batuts de fruites. I el fermall final i com a València és tradició, la degustació d’una paella.

On Wednesday, we visited Valencia (chosen as European Green Capital 2024) and we saw by photographic record the reasons for its choice: green spaces, freeing the centre from traffic, sustainable mobility (bicycles, electric cars), etc. We also visited emblematic places such as Estación del Norte, Plaza Ayuntamiento, Mercado Central, Torres de Serranos, la Lonja, the Cathedral, etc. 

El Dimecres visitàrem València (triada capital verda europea 2024) i constatàrem mitjançant registre fotogràfic les raons de la seua elecció: zones verdes, alliberant el centre al trànsit, mobilitat sostenible (bicicletes, cotxes elèctrics) etc. També vam recórrer llocs emblemàtics com a Estació del Nord, plaça Ajuntament, Mercat Central, Torres de Serrans, la Llotja, la catedral etc.

On Tuesday we went to the Marjal del Moros to see the measures taken to protect this ecosystem (SDG 15). In the afternoon we were introduced to the Life project of RenaturWat (Wastewater Treatment Plant of the Urbanization Los Monasterios de Puçol), an example of circular economy that generates resources from waste (SDG6, SDG 12). 

El Dimarts ens acostàrem a la Marjal del Moros per a comprovar les mesures adoptades per a protegir aquest ecosistema (ODS 15). A la vesprada ens van presentar el projecte Life de RenaturWat (Depuradora de la Urbanització Els Monestirs de Puçol), un exemple d’economia circular, que consisteix en generar recursos a partir de residus (ODS6, ODS 12).

On the first day of the mobility we had a welcome performance by our wonderful string quartet, we showed them around the centre and we participated in dances and games to get to know each other better prepared by the Physical Education students. In the afternoon, we visited the City of Arts and Sciences (SDG 7, 11 and 12) and watched the film BIG DREAM which motivated them to empathise with the needs and problems and look for a solution to improve the environment around us. 

El primer dia de la mobilitat vam comptar amb un acte de benvinguda a càrrec deel nostre meravellós quartet de corda, els vam mostrar el centre i participem en balls i jocs per a conéixer-se millor preparats per l’alumnat d’Educació Física. A la vesprada, visita a la Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències (ODS 7, 11 i 12) i visionat de la pel·lícula BIG DREAM que els va motivar a empatitzar amb les necessitats i problemes i buscar una solució per a millorar l’entorn que ens envolta.  

During the week of 22nd to 25th May, we received the visit of students from the Friedrich-List-Gymnasium in Asperg, Germany, partners of our project: Dream in Green: Smart solutions for our school. This mobility is part of the Erasmus Accreditation of IES Puçol (2022-2027). Our school has been distinguished in 2022 with the European Quality Label for eTwinning Projects. Dream in Green is one of these projects that has been developed in the current school year in the compulsory subject Interdisciplinary Project in the third year of ESO. The subject Interdisciplinary projects with a European dimension is a proposal of the school that allows students to acquire most of the competences included in the LOMLOE as well as to develop social and communication skills by being part of the European Student Ambassador Club of IES Puçol. Next school year our students will complete this wonderful educational experience by visiting the Asperg Institute. 

This first mobility in our school has been dedicated to environmental awareness and the Sustainable Development Goals 6, 7, 11, 12, 14 and 15 of the 2030 Agenda with inspiring visits to carry out the final task consisting of proposals to improve the sustainability of the school, by international groups of students, encouraging their creativity, promoting their ideas, being dreamers in action. 

La setmana del 22 al 25 de maig vam rebre la visita de l’alumnat del centre Friedrich-List-Gymnasium d’Asperg, Alemanya, companys del nostre projecte: Dream in Green: Smart solutions for our school. Aquesta mobilitat s’emmarca en l’Acreditació Erasmus de l’IES Puçol (2022-2027). El nostre centre ha sigut distingit en 2022 amb el Segell Europeu de Qualitat de Projectes eTwinning. Dream in Green és un d’aquests projectes que s’ha desenvolupat en el present curs escolar en la matèria d’oferta obligatòria Projecte Interdisciplinari en tercer curs de l’ESO. La matèria projectes interdisciplinaris amb dimensió europea és una proposta del centre que permet a l’alumnat adquirir la majoria dels competències recollides en la LOMLOE com desenvolupar habilitats socials i de comunicació formant part del Club d’Alumnat Ambaixador Europeu de l’IES Puçol. El pròxim curs escolar el nostre alumnat completarà aquesta meravellosa experiència formativa visitant l’institut d’Asperg. 

Aquesta primera mobilitat en el nostre centre s’ha dedicat a la conscienciació mediambiental i als Objectius de Desenvolupament Sostenible 6, 7, 11, 12, 14 i 15 de l’Agenda 2030 amb visites inspiradores per a la realització de la tasca final que consisteix en propostes per a la millora de la sostenibilitat del centre, per grups internacionals d’alumnat, fomentant la seua creativitat, impulsant les seues idees, sent somiadors en acció. 

Everything is almost ready for the visit of the students of the project Dream in Green. Smart solutions for our school from the Friedrich-List-Gymnasium in Asperg, Germany from May 22nd to 25th. A week of environmental awareness with work activities on SDG 6, 7, 11, 12 and 15 with visits to Valencia (elected European Green Capital 2024), the City of Arts and Sciences, the Marjal Dels Moros and a wastewater treatment plant in urb. Monasterios. They will strengthen friendships and share unforgettable experiences.

Ja està quasi tot llest per a la visita de l’alumnat del projecte Dream in Green. Smart solutions for our school del centre Friedrich-List-Gymnasium d’Asperg, Alemanya del 22 al 25 de Maig. Una setmana de conscienciació mediambiental amb activitats de treball sobre els ODS 6, 7, 11, 12 i 15 amb visites a València (triada capital verda europea 2024), la ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, la Marjal Dels Moros i una planta de tractament d’aigües residuals en urb. Monestirs. S’estrenyeran llaços d’amistat i compartiran experiències inoblidables.
