PROJECT ECOLOGICO-MARXADELLA

The ECO-MARXA project (team ecologico-marxadella) aims to carry out an educational project for the construction of fuel-efficient vehicles. We intend to do the greatest number of kilometers with the least fuel possible.

Our project has a dual purpose: on the one hand, to improve the education of our students and, on the other, to investigate and innovate in an important topic such as ecology and the reduction of vehicles fuel consumption.

This team participates in competitions of low consumption vehicles such as the Shell Eco-marathon, Solar Race Región de Murcia, Madrid EcoCity and Green Prix of Valencia. The team was created in 2007 and since then we have manufactured the vehicles with which we attended to competitions, workshops and fairs. We develop professional action projects, educational research and innovation, technical workshops and collaboration programs between schools in different Spanish regions.

Our project promotes such an important topic as sustainable mobility, the vital development of efficient and environmentally responsible fuels for the future, encouraging and inspiring the next generation of technicians who will develop the transportation solutions of the future.

PROJECT MARXADELLA.RR (Hiperbaric-Challenge)

With the MARXADELLA RR project, we participate in the Hiperbaric-Challenge that consists of designing, prototyping and building an inertia car, according to the requirements established by the Inertia Sports Federation for this type of vehicle. In addition to preparing a project that they must defend before a jury of experts and in which not only the technical part but also the social, marketing and management aspects will be valued, the team tests its prototype in a real competition urban track.
