Project EU IDEATHON for sustanaible entrepreneurship in VET (Erasmus+) – 2022-1-ES01-KA210-000084110
IES Abastos participated with its students in an Ideathon held in Portugal, whose objective was to promote the creation of sustainable businesses through the use of Artificial Intelligence. The students worked in international and multidisciplinary teams, applying intensive co-creation methodologies to design innovative solutions framed within the AI Act and the EntreComp Framework. Participation allowed students to strengthen their skills in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, as well as enhance entrepreneurial, digital, and transversal skills such as critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and teamwork.
The collaboration was facilitated with partners from Portugal and Romania, who contributed methodologies, workspaces, and specialized mentors. Thanks to this partnership, IES Abastos students were able to compare international experiences, learn from diverse educational realities, and transfer best practices to the Valencian context. This initiative reinforced the school’s international dimension, consolidating its leadership in the field of innovation applied to Vocational Training and opening new opportunities for cooperation in European projects of excellence. For IES Abastos, the experience meant the practical integration of the ideathon methodology into its training offer, consolidating the international dimension of its strategy of excellence in AI and Big Data.
