IES Abastos participates as an associate partner in the Digitopen project, which focuses on the digitalization of the third sector and social organizations. In this role, the school has contributed to the transfer of knowledge from Vocational Training to organizations that need to improve their digital processes, sharing the expertise of its students and teachers in Artificial Intelligence and Big Data. This participation has allowed IES Abastos to reinforce its commitment to digital inclusion and sustainability, while bringing technological advancements to organizations with limited resources.
The collaboration has been developed with Vocational Training centers, universities, and social organizations in France, Italy, and Spain, creating an innovation ecosystem that connects the educational field with the needs of the third sector. Thanks to this partnership, digital resources, training programs, and practical tools have been created to support the modernization of social organizations, fostering their sustainability and resilience. For IES Abastos, the project has provided an opportunity to expand its social impact, strengthen its commitment to digital responsibility, and consolidate its profile as an innovative center and a leader in the responsible application of disruptive technologies in Vocational Training.
