Project CIPE – Coaching Interpairs for Employment (Erasmus+) – 2019-1-ES01-KA202-064294
The European CIPE project, in which IES Abastos participated as a partner, aimed to improve the employability of vocational training students at risk of social exclusion by training them as “digital coaches.” Participating students were trained in the use of digital tools, social media, and ICT applied to job searching and acted, and continue to act, as digital mentors for their peers, facilitating their entry into the workforce through a peer-to-peer learning model. This peer-to-peer approach allows for the development of both transversal and technical/professional skills.
The partnership comprised public vocational training centers from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Romania, and Croatia. During the project, the centers carried out joint training activities, transnational meetings, and dissemination events. Key results included innovative teaching materials, practical case studies for developing digital skills, and the creation of an international network of students and teachers committed to workplace inclusion. This project has allowed us to generate sustainable and transferable methodologies, which strengthen our center’s ability to respond to the challenges of digital transformation and the labor market.
