Puçol (Valencia), May 18–22 — A group of Year 10 students and their peers from Notre Dame College recently took part in an enriching Erasmus+ mobility in Puçol,  the international project “SDG Revolution: Living Cities.” 

Over five intense days, students had the opportunity to live and collaborate together, working in international teams and taking part in activities aimed at discovering cities such as Puçol and Valencia. 

The programme combined academic learning with cultural experiences. Among the highlights was a visit to the City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia. Students also visited the Fallas Museum, where they learned first-hand about one of the most representative traditions of the Valencian Community, and toured the historic city centre, discovering its artistic and cultural heritage. 

One of the most dynamic moments of the week was the English Adventure Quest in Puçol, an interactive activity in which students, organised into international groups, explored local traditions while developing their English language skills and teamwork abilities. 

Without a doubt, it was an unforgettable experience that reinforces the importance of Erasmus+ programmes in the holistic education of students. 

Movilidad en grupo proyecto SDG revolution: living cities 

Puçol (Valencia), del 18 al 22 de mayo — Un grupo de estudiantes de 2º y sus compañeros del Notre Dame college han participado recientemente en una enriquecedora movilidad Erasmus+ en Puçol, enmarcada en el proyecto internacional “SDG Revolution: Living Cities”. 

Durante cinco intensas jornadas, el alumnado tuvo la oportunidad de convivir y colaborar trabajando en equipos internacionales realizando actividades para descubrir ciudades como Puçol y Valencia. 

El programa combinó aprendizaje académico y experiencias culturales. Entre las actividades más destacadas se encuentra la visita a la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias de Valencia. Asimismo, visitaron el Museo Fallero, donde conocieron de primera mano una de las tradiciones más representativas de la Comunidad Valenciana, y recorrieron el centro histórico de la ciudad, descubriendo su patrimonio artístico y cultural. 

Uno de los momentos más dinámicos de la semana fue la realización de una English Adventure Quest en Puçol una actividad interactiva en la que los estudiantes, organizados en grupos internacionales, exploraron las tradiciones locales mientras desarrollaban sus competencias lingüísticas en inglés y habilidades de trabajo en equipo. 

Sin duda, una vivencia inolvidable que refuerza el papel de los programas Erasmus+ en la formación integral del alumnado. 

From May 4 to 11, 2026, the CONSONANT VOICES student group from IES de Puçol traveled to Brou (France) to reunite with students from the College Florimond Robertet, accompanied by teachers MªJosé Claramunt and Carmina Margaix, and to perform the concert they had been preparing all year, which they had already presented at the Casa de Cultura in Puçol.   

 Our trip was a complete success; teachers, students, and families were all very pleased with the warm welcome, our stay in Brou, and the sense of camaraderie that surrounded the trip.   

 The concert took place at the iconic theater in Châteaudun, a beautiful venue steeped in history. The following songs were performed: “Lluna Mediterrànea,” “We Will Rock You,” “Hijo de la Luna,” “La La Land,” “Ciclo de la vida,” and “Dima Zaho.”   

All the students and teachers participating in the project visited the town of Brou, Chartres with its spectacular cathedral and surroundings, and Paris with all its charm. A highlight of the trip was the ride on the Bateau Mouche, which, despite the rain, made for one of the many unforgettable moments of this trip.

CONSONAT VOICES. 2ª Movilidad en Brou (Francia).  

Del 4 al 11 de mayo de 2026 el grupo de alumnos de CONSONANT  VOICES del IES de Puçol viajaron a Brou (Francia) para reencontrarse con el alumnado del College Florimond Robertet con las profesoras MªJosé Claramunt y Carmina Margaix y llevar adelante el concierto que han estado preparando durante todo el curso y que ya interpretaron en la Casa de Cultura de Puçol.  

Nuestro viaje ha sido todo un éxito, profesorado, alumnado y familias han estado muy contentos de la acogida, de la estancia en Brou y de toda la hermandad que ha rodeado el viaje.  

El concierto se hizo al teatro emblemático de Châteaudun, un lugar muy bonito y con mucha historia. Se interpretaron las siguientes canciones: “Lluna Mediterrànea”, “We will rock you”, “Hijo de la Luna”, “La la land”, “Ciclo de la vida” y “Dima Zaho”.  

Todo el alumnado y profesorado participante en el proyecto visitamos el pueblo de Brou, Chartres con su espectacular catedral y entorno y Paris con todo su encanto, destacando el viaje con el Bateau Mouche que con la lluvia hizo uno de tantos momentos inolvidables de este viaje.
