During the 15th of February the students of the 1st year of Bachillerato have visited different laboratories of the EPS in the campus of the University of Alicante. They have been accompanied by the teachers Elena Marco Anguiano and Herminia Pastor Pina from Computer Science and Pedro Martínez Ortiz from Mathematics. During their visit, they have enjoyed Physics in a laboratory of the EPS where Professor Santiago Heredia has awakened their interest in Physics. They also visited the construction practical classroom where Lola Andújar informed our students about the opportunities available in architectural engineering and technical architecture. And finally, they visited the CTQ where Nacho Aracil stressed the difference between science and engineering and the need for both.

Finally, they attended the round table on the occasion of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, chaired by Amparo Navarro, Rector of the University of Alicante, where the speakers told those present about their experiences. The Dean of the Faculty of Science, Magdalena García Irles, has wanted to transmit her encouragement to all our students.
