Hi! My name is Santi and I am a student of DAM at IES Salvador Gadea in Spain. Currently, I am doing an internship in a company in Warsaw, Poland, thanks to an Erasmus scholarship.
I am working at Poland Study, and our offices are located right in the city center. The work environment is fantastic, and my colleagues are incredibly kind and welcoming. Regarding my daily tasks, I’ve been putting my programming skills into practice. I recently developed a Telegram Bot using Python to unify and manage all the company’s emails. Right now, my main project is building a brand-new web portal for the company’s news and updates.
Living in Warsaw has been an amazing surprise. I honestly didn’t expect the city to be so modern, yet it has this very peaceful and calm atmosphere that I absolutely love. Almost every weekend, I grab my skateboard and explore different parts of the city. It’s been a great way to discover its fascinating culture. I’ve also had the chance to travel around and see other beautiful places in Poland with my flatmates.
If you are thinking about applying for an Erasmus scholarship, just do it. I would repeat this experience a thousand times. The feeling of independence, having the total freedom to make your own plans, and the amazing moments I’ve shared with my new friends are priceless. It truly is a life-changing experience. Go for it!
