The Official School of Languages La Vall d’Albaida-Empar Granell has carried out a European mobility programme in Copenhagen (Denmark), from the 13th to the 18th, involving eight students and two teachers from the centre. Over five days, this experience combined educational exchange with cultural discovery, becoming a valuable opportunity for personal and professional growth.
The programme included visits to Danish educational centres, where participants were able to gain first-hand insight into a pedagogical model focused on the holistic development of individuals. Among the most noteworthy aspects were the support provided to adult immigrant learners to facilitate their social and professional integration, specific programmes for neurodivergent students, and a strong commitment to lifelong learning.
Moreover, the exchange was mutual: Danish teachers particularly highlighted the close relationships and personalised guidance that characterise the teaching approach at EOI, as well as the creation of a trusting environment that enhances learning.
The mobility programme also included cultural activities to explore the city of Copenhagen and its surroundings, with visits to iconic landmarks and nearby locations.
This experience reinforces the commitment of our school to internationalisation and the continuous improvement of educational quality, while opening new perspectives for further innovation in teaching practice.
Through this initiative, the institution reaffirms the importance of education as a tool to connect cultures, foster critical thinking, and support the holistic development of learners.
