The Sanchis Guarner school in Ondara received an award on November 20th. The project was presented and exhibited at the IFEMA exhibition center (Madrid), where SIMO Education 2024, the International Exhibition of Educational Technology and Innovation, considered the largest national technology event, was held. Raúl Lara, director and coordinator of the project, collected the award for “Best Self-Created Digital Resource 2024.”
This innovative experience, developed by 5th grade students in the interdisciplinary projects area, consists of a video game application where the protagonist, “Super Eco Girl”, encourages us to complete three missions and learn the 3 Rs: reduce, recycle, and reuse. In the first, she takes us on a tour of Ondara’s most iconic locations. In the second, she helps us recycle correctly with colorful containers. In the third, she flies around the world, collecting and recycling objects and waste carried by the wind.
