BOC & ROLL’s DAY

? Families! There we have celebrated the ?? BOC’N’ROLL DAY at CEIP La Rambla. And we have delivered to the whole center the snack holder with the winning design in the ROLL’EAT drawing contest by ROC BOIX DUEÑAS of the 4th grade class of primaria??

In addition to all the awareness activities that we have done these days, CEIP La Rambla wanted to sign a BOCA-CONTRACT, an ecologically sustainable document to use the sandwich holders in the center, reduce the amount of waste in our playground every day and go beyond the care for nature in the best possible way, in our closest space. Roc Boix Dueñas, our winner, was in charge of reading and handing out the BOC & ROLLS.

In addition to signing our ECO-CONTRACT, the winning BOC & ROLL from the ROLL’EAT design contest was distributed to all the students of CEIP La RAMBLA:

?‍???‍♂️SUPERHEROS eTWINNING 22-23 5th?‍???‍♂️

Our 5th grade students will work on the SDGs of the 2030 Agenda in an eTwinning project called Superheroes. Together with students from Italy, France, Greece, Romania and Turkey, they will discover the meaning and value of Goals 4, 8, 10 and 16 (quality education, right to decent work, reduction of inequalities and peace and justice).

The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are 17 interconnected global goals designed to be a “blueprint for achieving a better and more sustainable future for all.” The SDGs were established in 2015 by the United Nations General Assembly and are intended to be achieved by 2030.

To find out that they were going to participate in this project, they had to solve an Escape Room with different tests and scenarios.
Here you can see them in action!

LET’S GO TO THE SPORTS CENTER!

☀️The heat wave last week was the perfect setting for the students of La Rambla to enjoy a day at the sports center.

☀️On Wednesday 15 was the turn of the classes of 3, 4 and 5 years of kindergarten, Thursday 16 the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of Primary, and Friday 17 was starred by the higher grades, 4th, 5th and 6th.

? Little girls and boys were refreshed at all times, as the Physical Education area prepared several water games.
?? ? The day began with dances, races, physical activity and lots of fun!
? And for breakfast on such a hot day, all the students were treated to fresh watermelon, not to forget that we are closing the year of Fruit and Vegetables!

??Then came the most awaited moment of the day, the swim in the pool.
Each group occupied the pool best suited to their age and ability to swim. In addition, thanks to the August City Hall, we had the presence of a lifeguard during the whole swimming time.

The students enjoyed swimming, sunbathing and playing with their classmates.
Undoubtedly, a refreshing and fun day to combat the high temperatures, because it smells like summer! ?? ?? ☀️?
