This project is aimed at 5th and 6th grade students.
Stop Motion is a cinematographic animation technique that allows you to animate everyday objects, toys or dolls designed for this purpose from any material that, through the capture of images of the manipulated objects, results in a small audiovisual work of animation. Developed in the Plastics area, the STOP MOTION Project is a very innovative and motivating project with which, using multiple photographs, plasticine figures come to life, and with which teamwork and collaboration are promoted using the technologies in a fun way.
The creation of a short or film in Stop Motion helps children to make an effort and self-assess the process: it is about reviewing each frame so that they can evaluate their work. In this way it will be exciting to see how they will be able to correct their own steps and check if the creation works by analyzing and reproducing movements, expressions, situations.
Thus, they will develop artistic, creative, technological skills and, above all, group work and analysis of realities.
