APRIL 2026
From April 27 to 30 in Bologna (Italy)
From 27th to 30th April 2026, two teachers from the Guidance and Mathematics Departments of our school took part in an Erasmus+ mobility programme in the form of Job Shadowing at Liceo Scientifico Statale A. B. Sabin in Bologna, Italy. During the stay, they learned about the Italian educational system, attended lessons and coordination meetings, and observed innovative teaching methodologies and inclusion strategies. They also participated in an activity outside the school together with students and two teachers from the host institution, promoting cultural and linguistic exchange.
From April 14 to 17 in Rome (Italy)
During her stay at the IISS Charles Darwin Research Station (Rome), the teacher from IES Gaia participated as a co-teacher in an English reading and writing session. The student created sentences from a text and transformed them into a comic strip using artificial intelligence. This experience demonstrates how the use of active learning methodologies and digital resources can contribute to more inclusive teaching, while maintaining curricular objectives and fostering meaningful and personalized learning.
From April 13 to 17 in Ljubljana (Slovenia)
CEIP Bonavista in Ontinyent carried out its 5th Erasmus student mobility from 13–19 April in Ljubljana (Slovenia) with 14 students and 4 teachers, focused on health, sport and the environment. They visited the education system, Postojna Cave and Trieste, lived with host families and improved their English. A key internationalisation experience.
MARCH 2026
From March 15 to 20 in Braga (Portugal)
Two teachers from IES La Patacona in Alboraia undertook a placement at a school in Vila Verde (Portugal), where they were able to gain first-hand insight into its organisation, innovation projects, management model and commitment to inclusion, as well as the involvement of the educational community. They particularly highlighted the strong institutional support, reflected in resources and specific initiatives, and the presence of a large team of non-teaching staff who take on support roles, allowing teaching staff to focus on teaching. They also praised the quality of the school’s facilities, such as a well-equipped library staffed by specialist personnel, and a dedicated unit for pupils with special educational needs, equipped with a wide range of resources and supported by specialist staff.
From March 8 to 13 in Koblenz (Germany)
An enriching week at Gymnasium Karthause. Sharing experiences with German teachers has revealed new ways of educating, such as discipline management and students’ environmental responsibility. These insights, along with the analysis of their math methodologies, will help us improve the educational quality of our center in Spain.
FEBRUARY 2026
From February 1 to 6 in Spoleto (Italy)
The 6th-grade students from CEIP Eusebio Sempere in Alicante have completed a 6-day mobility trip to Spoleto (Italy) from 1st to 6th of February. During this trip, they were able to work alongside their new Italian classmates and share numerous experiences. They learned how their Italian friends work, using art and physical expression from a very inclusive perspective.
JANUARY 2026
From January 13 to 23 in Sastamala(Finland)
Last January, eight students from the IES Comarcal de Burjassot travelled to Sastamala, Finland, accompanied by two teachers. During the visit, we explored how climate change is affecting Finland’s climate and how to address it. Their work and ideas represent the future of the fight against climate change.
NOVEMBER 2025
From November 11 to 21 in Oulu (Finland)
Mobility through job shadowing at Hiukavaara Skule in the city of Oulu, Finland, carried out by two teachers from CEIP Pintor Estruch from Manuel as part of the KA-121 programme. During the mobility days, we had the opportunity to observe, in an unbeatable educational and personal environment, the objectives of digital skills, the use of AI in education, STEAM and robotics, the promotion of environmental improvement and conservation, as well as school organisation and the Finnish education system.
OCTOBER 2025
From October 20 to 24 in Zabrze, Poland
From October 20 to 24, 2 teachers and 8 students from CEIP Jaume I in Alcàsser participated in a group mobility in Zabrze, Poland, within the framework of the SEA’S 4IE project in collaboration with schools from Italy, Portugal, and Poland. During the week, they took part in various activities aimed at developing successful educational actions to promote inclusion. Other objectives of the project include improving communicative competence in English, caring for the environment and sustainability, fostering cultural and social awareness and respect, and promoting European and democratic civic awareness.
From October 15 to 19 in Pontassieve, Italy
Teachers from CEIP Bonavista de Ontinyent take part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Tuscany. From October 15th to 19th of 2025, they attended the “Art and Nature in Tuscany” course, with visits to Pistoia, Florence, and Pontassieve. The experience, focused on methodologies connecting education, art, and nature, opened new perspectives to foster creativity and the European dimension in their school.
Erasmus Days October 14, 2026 in Torrent (Spain)
On the occasion of Erasmus Days, the Lope de Vega Primary School (CEIP) hosted a meeting of schools in the town of Torrent (Valencia) participating in the Erasmus+ program. During this meeting, in addition to sharing experiences on the various Erasmus+ initiatives, interviews were conducted with teachers, students, and families from the various schools. These interviews were used to create an Erasmus+ promotional video that aims to highlight the program’s impact on the educational community, disseminate the results, and motivate other schools to participate.
JULY 2025
From July 12 to 18, 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland
A teacher from IES La Patacona has taken part in the Erasmus+ course “Project Management & eTwinning” held in Reykjavik (Iceland). This training has been a unique experience that brought together educators from different countries with a common goal: to deepen their understanding of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme and to build collaborative networks among European schools to develop joint projects.
MAY 2025
From March 24 to 28, 2025 in Fasano, Italy
During their stay at IISS G. Salvemini (Fasano), the teachers from IES Gaia observed classes in various vocational training fields, such as Graphic Design, Tourism, and Culinary Arts. They analyzed the use of digital tools (Mentimeter, Quizizz), the inclusion of students with special educational needs, and methodologies such as the flipped classroom. They also took part in educational visits to technical workshops and the natural environment.
From March 11 to 16, 2025 in Rio Maior, Portugal
The families and teachers of Escolas Marinhas do Sal de Rio Maior (Portugal) returned to the 7 students and 2 teachers of 2nd ESO of the IES Miguel Hernández (Alicante) the warm welcome, which the Portuguese had previously experienced in Spain. Most of the activities in this exchange focused on coexistence, diversity, interculturality and inclusion, the object of our project.
APRIL 2025
From April 13 to 19, 2025 in Oporto (Portugal)
Witnessing free circulation and open play in Porto reaffirmed the importance of rethinking our own spaces. This enriching Erasmus+ experience has not only provided us with new methodological tools, but also drives us to continue transforming our classrooms into more autonomous, creative, and respectful environments at CEI Virgen de Cortes.
From April 8 to 15, 2025 in Royan, France
IES La Patacona Jobshadowing Program at the Lycée Cordouan in Royan (France). During the visit, we observed the creative environment of the Lycée Cordouan. We had the opportunity to witness and participate in daily activities, especially in the music department. This experience allowed us to share knowledge and pedagogical approaches in the field of arts and culture, strengthening our center’s international relations, the power of collaboration, and our commitment to education.
From April 6 to 12, 2025 in Cuneo, Italy
Students from La Anunciación School in Valencia took part in an Erasmus+ mobility at the Istituto Comprensivo di Cuneo (Italy). They stayed with local families, enhancing their autonomy and cultural immersion. The program combined classes, workshops, and cultural and sports activities, promoting European values and digital skills toward innovative education.
MARCH 2025
From March 24 to April 4, 2025 in Alter do Chao, Portugal
CEIP José García Planells school, within its Erasmus+ project Green Technology: Better Together, carried out a five-day mobility experience, with three days of stay in the host country and two days of travel. Ten 5th-grade students (7 girls and 3 boys) participated. This was the first time the school organized an international mobility for 5th-grade students, thus extending the opportunity to take part in Erasmus+ projects to grades that had not previously had direct access to such experiences. In selecting the group, priority was given to ensuring that at least 50% of participants were students with fewer opportunities, in line with our commitment to inclusion and equity.
From March 24 to 28, 2025 in Cuneo, Italy
CEIP San José de Calasanz KA122 project in Cuneo (Italy). Promote environmental awareness, healthy habits and commitment to the environment through school hours. Activities with the winter, the plot for classes and recycling teach how to take care of nature, work as a team and be responsible, promote values and sustainable learning in all students.
Del 24 al 28 de marzo de 2025 en Koblenz, Germany
One of the English teachers at IES La Patacona took part in a job shadowing mobility programme in Koblenz, a city in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The teacher was able to attend English, geography and history, chemistry and mathematics classes to closely observe the CLIL methodology used to teach these subjects. She also had the opportunity to attend literature, theatre and swimming classes, subjects in the German curriculum that are very interesting for the tastes and interests of the students, which are taught both theoretically and practically. Topics such as immigration in the USA, virtual classrooms, differences between Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, advantages and disadvantages of being an influencer and many more are present in all classrooms, thus fostering an interest in current affairs among students, encouraging them to share their opinions and debate, and developing critical thinking.
From March 22 to 29, 2025 in Bologne, Italy
Nine 1st-year Bachillerato students from IES Gaia took part in an Erasmus+ mobility in Bologna, Italy, from March 22 to 29, 2025. Hosted by Italian families, they attended classes at Liceo Sabin and joined cultural and social activities, enjoying a unique educational and intercultural experience.
From March 22 to 29, in Famaliçao, Portugal
Students from IES Les Dunes in Guardamar del Segura (Alicante) participated in a mobility program at the Agrupamento de Escolas D. Sancho in Famalicão, Portugal. The students stayed with Portuguese host families, providing them with a full cultural immersion. The program combined academic activities with cultural exploration and leisure, offering a rich international experience and promoting intercultural understanding.
From March 9 to 14, 2025 in Vila Verde, Portugal
Job Shadowing Program of IES La Patacona at Vila Verde Secondary School (Portugal). During the visit, we observed the creative environment of the school and participated in the daily activities of the Department. This experience allowed us to share knowledge and pedagogical approaches in the field of the arts. This program has strengthened the ties between IES La Patacona and Vila Verde Secondary School, demonstrating the power of collaboration and commitment to education.
