During the week of 15-20 December, students participating in the eTwinning project SDG School Revolution: Living Spaces with their two teachers have visited the educational centre Notre Dame in La Montagne (France).   

Students from the two high schools, in international groups, have been working and at the same time having fun doing activities related to sustainable development goals of the 2030 Agenda (SDGs 4, 7, 11, 13, 15) and the transformation of spaces in schools:  

 Workshops at the school:  

• Sports activities to get to know each other better.  

• eTwinning workshop: teacher Elena Campaña teaches students and teachers in the project how to use this platform.  

• Creation of a treasure hunt game to discover spaces in the school that could be more sustainable.  

 Cultural visits  

•  Visit to the Machine de l’ile museum   

•  Discover Nantes through an application  

Durante la semana del 15 al 20 de diciembre, el alumnado que participa en el proyecto eTwinning SDG School Revolution: Living Spaces con sus dos profesoras ha visitado el centro educativo Notre Dame en La Montagne (Francia).  

Los estudiantes de los dos institutos, en grupos internacionales, han trabajado y a la vez divertido realizando actividades relacionadas con objetivos de desarrollo sostenible de la Agenda 2030 (ODS 4, 7, 11, 13, 15) y la transformación de espacios en los centros educativos: 

Talleres en el instituto: 

• Actividades deportivas para conocerse mejor. 

• Taller eTwinning: la profesora Elena Campaña enseña a alumnado y profesorado del proyecto a utilizar esta plataforma. 

• Creación de un juego de la caza del tesoro para descubrir espacios en el instituto que podrían ser más sostenibles. 

Visitas culturales 

• Visita al museo Machine de l‘ile  

• Descubrir Nantes a través de una aplicación 

The great work and good practices carried out in eTwinning projects by teachers and pupils at IES Puçol have once again been recognised. In 2023, the National Quality Label was awarded to the projects Fary tales and legends as European Cultural Heritage and Stop Ciberbullying.

El gran trabajo y buenas prácticas realizados en los proyectos eTwinning por profesorado y alumnado del IES Puçol vuelve a ser reconocido. En el año 2023 Etwinning premió con la National Quality Label a los proyectos Fary tales and legends as European Cultural Heritage y Stop Ciberbullying.

En nuestro IES Puçol del 14 al 19 de octubre de 2024 se han celebrado los ERASMUS DAYS  a través de diferentes actividades . 

En primer lugar, el martes día 15 se realizó en el salón de actos para los alumn@s interesados en formar parte de los diferentes proyectos, una exposición llevada a cabo por los alumn@s del curso pasado de primero de Bachiller que realizaron la estancia de larga duración en Finlandia.       . 

Al día siguiente miércoles día 16 y nuevamente en el salón de actos, se explicó el proyecto “DREAM IN GREEN” que se llevó a cabo en colaboración con alumnos de un Instituto de Alemania . Este proyecto en concreto duró dos años durante los cuales hubieron visitas de los estudiantes Alemanes aquí a España y viceversa.  

Con ambas exposiciones contadas en primera persona por los alumn@s, se pretendió trasladar las experiencias vividas a la vez que mostrar las diferentes posibilidades de estancias en Europa tanto de corta como de larga duración. A partir de ahí, se les repartió al alumnado interesado las solicitudes para formar parte del Club Embajador.  

Para clausurar los ERASMUS DAYS, el jueves día 17 aquellos alumn@s que trajeron las solicitudes cumplimentadas y firmadas por las familias, realizaron una actividad en el invernadero del IES en la cual sembraron unas plantitas para simbolizar el inicio de una nueva vivencia académica como Equipo Embajador Cívico Europeo.

   HABEMUS ERASMUS DAYS !!!  

In our IES Puçol from 14 to 19 October 2024 ERASMUS DAYS have been celebrated through different activities.  

 First of all, on Tuesday the 15th was held in the auditorium for students interested in being part of the different projects, an exhibition carried out by the students of last year’s first year of high school who made the long stay in Finland.  

The next day, Wednesday the 16th and again in the auditorium, the project “DREAM IN GREEN” was explained, which was carried out in collaboration with students from an institute in Germany.

With both exhibitions told in first person by the students, the aim was to transfer the experiences lived and at the same time to show the different possibilities of stays in Europe, both short and long term. From there, applications to join the Ambassador Club were distributed to interested students. 

To close the ERASMUS DAYS, on Thursday 17th those students who brought the applications completed and signed by the families, carried out an activity in the greenhouse of the IES in which they planted some seedlings to symbolize the beginning of a new academic experience as a European Civic Ambassador Team.

Desde 2001, la Comisión Europea celebra anualmente el Día Europeo de las Lenguas. Se trata de una maravillosa iniciativa que hace bandera de la gran diversidad y multitud de culturas que coexisten en Europa. Con casi 450 millones de ciudadanos y 24 lenguas oficiales en la UE, es importante valorar la diversidad de la que puede presumir Europa. Por eso, el Día Europeo de las Lenguas es un gran recordatorio del orgullo que debemos sentir por nuestro enorme patrimonio lingüístico y cultural.   

Es por eso, que en el IES Puçol lo hemos celebrado realizando diferentes actividades durante todo el día:  

• Se han elaborado y colgado carteles en el centro para la conmemoración. 

• Se ha escuchado a lo largo del día “LOVE” de Nat King Cole en versión plurilingüe. 

• Nuestros alumnos prepararon diversos carteles en los cuales pudimos descubrir palabras procedentes de otros idiomas que no tienen traducción al castellano, recordando así la inmensa riqueza que existe en cada lengua.  

• Las alumnas de francés de 4ºESO prepararon un vídeo con el fin de hacernos conocer mejor El Principito (de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) en las diferentes lenguas de nuestro alumnado  

Let’s celebrate European Day of Languages ​​on September 26!  
Since 2001, the European Commission has celebrated the European Day of Languages ​​annually. This is a wonderful initiative that highlights the great diversity and multitude of cultures that coexist in Europe. With almost 450 million citizens and 24 official languages ​​in the EU, it is important to value the diversity that Europe can boast. Therefore, the European Day of Languages ​​is a great reminder of the pride we should feel in our enormous linguistic and cultural heritage.    
 
That is why at IES Puçol we have celebrated it by carrying out different activities throughout the day: 

• Banners have been made and hung downtown for the commemoration.  

• “LOVE” by Nat King Cole has been heard throughout the day in a multilingual version. 

• Our students prepared several posters in which we were able to discover words from other languages that have no translation into Spanish, thus reminding us of the immense richness that exists in each language 

• The 4thESO French students prepared a video in order to make us know better The Little Prince (by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) in the different languages of our students.   

The week of 13-17 May we received the Swedish delegation of the project North2South, Digitalizing for an inclusive and sustainable Europe 5.0.   

 A week of SUSTAINABILITY with a visit to Valencia (European Green Capital 2024) and the design and 3D printing of a piece for the reuse of products (upcycling), INCLUSION with group bonding and the creation of a collaborative mural with messages of equality and FUN enjoying water sports on the beach of Puçol and the local gastronomy.  

 Thus, after two school years, this eTwinning project that has established a bridge between Gudmundråskolan (Kramfors) and IES Puçol comes to an end.  

La semana del 13 al 17 de mayo recibimos a la delegación sueca del proyecto North2South, Digitalizing for an inclusive and sustainable Europe 5.0.   

Una semana de SOSTENIBILIDAD con la visita a Valencia (Capital verde europea 2024) y el diseño e impresión 3D de una pieza para la reutilización de productos (upcycling), INCLUSIÓN con la unión de grupo y la realización de un mural colaborativo con mensajes de igualdad y DIVERSIÓN disfrutando de deportes acuáticos en la playa de Puçol y de la gastronomía local. 

Finaliza así tras dos cursos escolares este proyecto eTwinning que ha establecido un puente entre Gudmundråskolan (Kramfors) y el IES Puçol 

The teachers Elena Campaña, M José Gil and Inmaculada Ros have visited the educational centre Szkoła Podstawowa nr 28 w Białymstoku in Bialystok (Poland) to extend our Erasmus family. There they have learnt about the Polish education system, the educational methodologies they apply, the organisation of teachers, students and they have seen first-hand their accredited project on outdoor activities and soft skills (communication, teamwork, emotional intelligence, problem solving, etc.).  

In addition to that, they met with the teaching staff with the aim of designing and programming a new Erasmus project in which pupils from the two schools will participate through Etwinning and the future mobilities that it entails.  

Las profesoras Elena Campaña, M José Gil e Inmaculada Ros han visitado el centro educativo Szkoła Podstawowa nr 28 w Białymstoku en Bialystok (Polonia) para ampliar nuestra familia Erasmus. Allí han aprendido cómo es el sistema educativo polaco, las metodologías educativas que aplican, la organización de profesorado, alumnado y han conocido de cerca su proyecto acreditado sobre actividades al aire libre y soft skills (comunicación, trabajo en equipo, inteligencia emocional, resolución de problemas, etc.). 

Además, se han reunido con el profesorado con el objetivo de diseñar y programar un nuevo proyecto Erasmus en el que participará alumnado de los dos centros educativos a través de Etwinning y las futuras movilidades que conlleva. 

From April 15 to 18, our teachers Alfredo Alandes of Physical Education and Javier Aparicio of Drawing carried out a job shadowing at the BRG Hamerlings center in Linz.  

The two Spanish teachers accompanied us on the visit to the center, where we were able to visit all its facilities, both specific spaces such as the gym, art and science classrooms, and common places: the patio, library, hallways, exhibition spaces, etc.  

They prepared a schedule for us to be able to attend different classes at different educational levels: Physical Education, Wood Carving, Biology, Computer Programming, Theater, Spanish, …  

We also visited the city of Linz and its surroundings, which turned out to be a beautiful town and very comfortable for the students.  

During the job shadowing we showed our eTwinning project The Art of Sports, and we studied the possibility of adapting it to the Spanish subject in order to propose group mobility and short-term individual mobility for the next course, this proposal being very good welcomed by both parties.  

We hope that this experience is the beginning of many common projects. 

Del 15 al 18 de abril nuestros profesores  Alfredo Alandes de Educación Física y Javier Aparicio de Dibujo realizaron un jobshadowing en el centro BRG Hamerlings trasse de Linz. 

Las dos profesoras de Español nos acompañaron en la visita al centro, donde pudimos visitar todas sus instalaciones, tanto espacios específicos como el gimnasio, aulas de arte y de ciencias, como lugares comunes: el patio, biblioteca, pasillos, espacios expositivos, etc. 

Nos prepararon un horario para poder asistir a diferentes clases de diferentes niveles educativos: Educación Física, Talla de madera, Biología, Programación informática, Teatro, Español, … 

También visitamos la ciudad de Linz y su entorno, que resultó ser una hermosa localidad y muy cómoda para el alumnado. 

Durante el job shadowing mostramos nuestro proyecto eTwinning The Art of Sports, y estudiamos la posibilidad de adecuarlo a la asignatura de Español con el fin de proponer una movilidad de grupo y una movilidad individual de corta duración de cara al próximo curso, teniendo esta propuesta muy buena acogida por ambas partes. 

Esperamos que esta experiencia sea el inicio de muchos proyectos en común. 

During the week of 8-13 April we were visited by our Erasmus+ project partners from Notre Dame de La Montagne school (France). This Etwinning project combines environmental awareness (SDGs 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15) with our Erasmus+ Accreditation objective of ‘Creating spaces of confluence, meeting and dialogue of the educational community’.   

 An intense and exciting week of activities carried out in international groups:  

•  Cultural: visit the historic centre of Valencia and the City of Arts and Sciences.  

•  Visit to ecosystems: Albufera and Puçol beach.  

•  Workshops at the school: playful activities to get to know each other better and promote integration, workshop ‘Reduce your Carbon Footprint’ led by students from the Dream in Green project, European awareness (Europe Games) and SWOT analysis of the outdoor areas of the school with the development of the vertical garden founded by the teacher Vicent Ribes following the Bauhaus spirit.   

• Farewell celebration with families sharing local gastronomy.  

Durante la semana del 8 al 13 de abril nos visitaron nuestros compañeros de proyecto Erasmus+ del colegio Notre Dame de La Montagne (Francia). Este proyecto Etwinning combina la concienciación medioambiental (ODS 4, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15) con el objetivo de nuestra Acreditación Erasmus+ de “Creación de espacios de confluencia, reunión y diálogo de la comunidad educativa”.  

Una semana intensa y emocionante de actividades realizadas en grupos internacionales: 

• Culturales: visita el centro histórico de Valencia y la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias 

• Visita a ecosistemas: Albufera y playa de Puçol 

• Talleres en el instituto: actividades lúdicas para conocerse mejor y promover la integración, taller “Reduce tu Huella de carbono” capitaneada por alumnado del proyecto Dream in Green, de concienciación europea (Juegos de Europa) y análisis DAFO de las zonas exteriores del centro con el acondicionamiento del jardín vertical fundado por el profesor Vicent Ribes siguiendo el espíritu Bauhaus  

• Celebración de despedida con familias compartiendo la gastronomía local. 

Last Saturday 24 of February three Finnish students from Järvenpään lukio returned home. They have been living with our three students and their families for two weeks. They took part in the daily life of the school and enjoyed our cultural traditions in Puçol. This mobility, which is part of the Erasmus accreditation, allows the students to acquire most of the competences included in the LOMLOE: enhance competence in cultural awareness and expression, improve oral and written English, meet and immerse themselves in the daily life of a high school which is a model school for the rest of Europe (a new learning environment), develop social and communication skills as part of the Club of European Civic Ambassador Students of IES Puçol. It will be in the month of April when our three students from IES Puçol will travel to Järvenpään to complete this wonderful educational experience. 

El pasado sábado 24 de febrero regresaron a casa las tres estudiantes finlandesas del Järvenpään lukio que durante dos semanas han convivido con nuestros tres estudiantes y sus familias, participando del día a día del centro y disfrutando de nuestras tradiciones en Puçol. Esta movilidad que se enmarca en la acreditación Erasmus permite al alumnado adquirir la mayoría de las competencias recogidas en la LOMLOE:  potenciar la competencia en conciencia y expresión cultural, mejorar la competencia oral y escrita del inglés, conocer y sumergirse en el día a día de un centro referente en Europa (un nuevo entorno de aprendizaje), desarrollar habilidades sociales y de comunicación formando parte del club de alumnado embajador cívico europeo del IES Puçol. Será en el mes de abril cuando nuestro alumnado del ECA students club viajen a Järvenpään para completar esta maravillosa experiencia de formación.
