Between April 19 and 25, IES Vicent Andrés Estellés had the honour of welcoming a group of students and three teachers from Carol I Theoretical High School within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
As part of this academic exchange, our 1st-year Bachillerato students will soon embark on their own educational journey to Romania, from May 17 to 23. As a prelude to this experience, the Spanish students acted as hosts, facilitating the integration of their Romanian counterparts into the school’s daily academic life and guiding them through a cultural tour of places of great historical and cultural significance in Burjassot and Valencia (photos). During their stay, the participants attended various lessons, explored important heritage sites and further developed their communicative competence in English.
This initiative proved extraordinarily enriching, fostering the exchange of knowledge, cultural cross-fertilisation and the consolidation of key skills within a context of educational internationalisation. We would also like to express our most sincere gratitude to the families who hosted the Romanian students, whose generosity was fundamental to the success of this experience.
