Last Friday, 27th January, the 2nd Computer Olympiad of the Valencian Community was held. For three hours the more than 80 participants had to face five programming problems. Fifteen students from IES María Blasco attended the event, studying in 4th ESO, 1st and 2nd Baccalaureate. At the end of the three hours, a diploma was awarded to the three winners. The first and second prizes went to students from IES María Blasco, Alberto Navalón Lillo who won first prize and Adán Plaza Serrano who won second prize, both from the second year of Bachillerato, students of the IT teacher Herminia Pastor Pina. Particularly noteworthy is the number of participants from IES María Blasco which, without taking into account the two prize-winners, had a very worthy performance. The next challenge for Alberto is the national phase, congratulations to all of them, especially Alberto and Adán!
