On Friday 18th November at 7pm in the bar-cafetería La Luna Nueva, Av. Joan Fuster, 22-A, Dénia, we will put on the first English / Spanish pub quiz for 3 years.
For those of you who are new to this event we form mixed teams of English and Spanish speakers around tables seating about 6 people. (Minimum knowledge of English B1). There will be 6 rounds of questions – 3 in English and 3 in Spanish – on subjects which might include music / famous people / history / entertainment / famous places / local knowledge / current affairs etc. There will be a minimal charge of 50 cents to join in, which will be given back in prizes to the winning teams.
As we have the room for free you are asked to buy a drink or two at bar prices.
There´s no need to sign-up beforehand, just come along, and we usually aim to finish by around 9-9.15pm.
As usual this is an event jointly hosted by the Official Language School of Dénia, the International Relations Department of Dénia’s City Council and the U3A.
