A project aimed at creating a virtual network of destinations in the Valencian Community through the application of emerging technologies involving the production, editing, and dissemination of a 360-degree tour of various emblematic places in our region.
Being able to virtually visit the heritage and palm grove of Elche, the Albufera Natural Park of Valencia, the towers of l’Horta d’Alacant, and explore towns showcasing cultural and artistic aspects of Castellón is a feasible reality thanks to the inclusion of diverse competencies with the same objective: improving educational quality in vocational training through applied innovation.
This is an innovation project that assists, promotes, and can boost the tourism sector in our community. Not only that, but it also showcases how collaboration among vocational training centers and across different professional families enables aligning sector needs with the training and curriculum of various programs.
It’s a collaborative project among several centers in the Valencian Community, including Hospitality and Tourism centers like IES Costa de Azahar, CIPFP Mislata, and Tirant lo Blanc in Elche, which acts as its coordinator. It involves interaction with other programs from the IT Family at IES Macià Abela, Physical and Sports Activities at IES de marzo, Electricity and Electronics at IES Antonio José Cavanilles, and Image and Sound at IES Luís García Berlanga. Furthermore, this project wouldn’t be possible without the contribution of Lookish Spain, a company that has proposed various challenges to students so that, collaboratively and by applying active methodologies, they can produce, record, and edit the experience for its final implementation and dissemination.
A project that enables the inclusion of digitalization and sustainability competencies in the curriculum across different programs and professional families. A visible and real example of the success and opportunity that vocational training offers to a representative and essential sector in the Valencian Community.
