In the Infant English class we love to dance, sing, run, jump, hug, play and, above all, shout a lot!
We always start with our routines, because knowing what we are supposed to do helps us to consolidate how to express it in the foreign language. Then, before moving on to learning and practicing new concepts, we dance and sing to cheer ourselves up a bit. To learn we play games, watch videos, tell stories and do some work. And before we know it, the class comes to an end, and what better way to say goodbye than by moving the skeleton!
As we know that you love learning English, we leave here several resources that you can visit to continue what we see in class, but from home. To go to the site, just click on the images.
First of all, you can visit this blog. There you will find many of the songs and videos we use in class grouped by themes or topics.
In addition, here is a selection of websites focused on learning English in preschool. All of them have a section of songs, videos-drawings and some have handicrafts.
You can also try the following apps, available for Android and iOS.
Here you can find magnificent illustrated books by Núria Vives to download in PDF.
And don’t miss these series of drawings. It’s a great way to educate your ear to a different language than usual. If you get used to seeing them in English from a young age, the effects will be noticeable in a few years!
