The Erasmus KA122-VET project, titled “Solutions for a Sustainable City”, is designed for students in both medium and higher-level vocational training programs. Its primary goal is to offer international mobility opportunities and internships in European companies, as well as job shadowing for teachers, with a clear focus on sustainability, innovation, and gender equality in STEAM programs.
Project Objectives
- Increase Language Competence
The project aims to enhance the language skills of both students and teachers in foreign languages, facilitating their integration into a European educational environment and international projects. - Workplace Training (FCT)
Students will have the opportunity to complete their Workplace Training in European companies, where they can apply their knowledge in a real-world environment, gain international professional experience, and conduct a comparative analysis of the sustainability of European cities and businesses. - Active Learning Methodologies
Through the project, the use of active methodologies will be promoted, engaging students in more dynamic, practical learning that focuses on the development of both theoretical and practical skills. - Promotion of Gender Equality
Efforts will be made to reduce the gender gap in STEAM vocational programs by encouraging greater participation of female students and ensuring equitable and diverse representation to enrich solutions to urban challenges from a gender perspective. - Interdisciplinary Collaboration
The project will promote collaboration among students from different professional areas, encouraging teamwork and interdisciplinary efforts to address complex problems related to urban sustainability.
This program will not only allow students and teachers to expand their professional and personal horizons but also contribute to creating innovative and sustainable solutions for a more equitable and greener future.
