Within the accredited Erasmus+ project that we are carrying out at the IES Vicent Andrés Estellés, two of our teachers, Inés Martínez and Mª Carmen Borull, have carried out a Job Shadowing at the La Fontana de Revereto institute in Italy, from the 11th to March 15 (photos).

They have been able to learn first-hand about the functioning and characteristics of the educational system in Italy, as well as day-to-day life in an Italian institute. The main objective is methodological improvement and innovation, as well as the improvement of the digital competence of the center’s teaching staff.

From February 24 to March 2, the IES Vicent Andrés Estellés has hosted students and teachers from the Latvian educational center, Valmieras Valsts ģimnāzija, who are participating in an Erasmus + accredited project.

Our 4th ESO students, who visited Latvia in April, have now been hosts. They have been carrying out activities in our center and visiting the most emblematic places, such as the City of Arts and Sciences, the Albufera and the historic center of Valencia. During this stay they have also been received by the mayor of Burjassot, Rafa García and his municipal corporation, in addition to visiting “the Silos” (photos).

It has been a very enriching experience for all participating students. We are very grateful to the families of our students who hosted students from Latvia, they have been excellent hosts. The Latvian students and teachers left very happy and happy about the experience they had.

The students from the Latvian educational center, Valmieras Valsts ģimnāzija, who participate in an ErasmusPlus program with 4th year ESO students from l’Estellés are already in Burjassot from February 24 to March 2 (photos).
