Between November 24th and 30th, a group of teachers and students from IES Ràdio Exterior travelled to Rome as part of the Erasmus+ program “Building Bridges”.
Within the agenda of activities arranged by the hosting school, the ISS Charles Darwin in Rome, it was highlighted the importance of knowing the reality of refugees and some of the different initiatives that take place in the city related to it.
In addition, this agenda was completed with various cultural activities that allowed us to get to know and enjoy the “eternal city”. It was also a real pleasure to meet students and teachers from other delegations, Belgium and Germany, and to be able to exchange experiences and impressions with them.
During the week our students lived with local families and were able to learn about the organisation of the hosting school, as well as enjoy unforgettable leisure moments.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ project, coexistence between different nationalities and learning through exchange is a reality and the satisfaction of students and teachers upon returning from Rome attested to this.
We look forward to welcoming them at our school in February 2025!
