At IES Bernat Guinovart, we are proud to announce our participation in the TRIC Project (Towards Innovative Communities: Making Uncertainty Productive), a forward-thinking European initiative funded by the Erasmus+ program.
What is the TRIC Project?
The world is changing rapidly, often presenting us with complex and unpredictable challenges. The TRIC project focuses on developing “Uncertainty Competence”. This goes beyond resilience; it is the ability to transform ambiguous and unpredictable situations into real opportunities for innovation, growth, and positive change.
Through this project, we aim to empower our students and staff to become proactive problem-solvers who see uncertainty not as a barrier, but as a source of potential.
Project Details
- Official Title: Towards Innovative Communities: Making Uncertainty Productive.
- Duration: 36 months.
- Partnership: We are working alongside a prestigious consortium of 11 partners from 5 European countries: Finland, Austria, Denmark, Poland, and Spain.
Key Activities & Goals
As part of this alliance, IES Bernat Guinovart will participate in several key initiatives:
- Innovative Learning Methods: We are helping to create multidisciplinary teaching methods that prepare students for the modern workforce.
- Support for Educators: Our teachers will receive specialized training to better support students in navigating complex environments.
- Community Collaboration: We are facilitating connections between young people, higher education institutions, public sectors, and private companies to foster social responsibility.
- Digital Tools: The project includes the development of a dedicated digital application to provide collaborative support for learners and teachers, connecting us with our European partners regardless of time or location.

- Finland: Turku UAS (Coordinator), Elämän Akatemia Oy, and Kukunori ry.
- Austria: University for Continuing Education Krems and Jugend am Werk Steiermark.
- Denmark: Erhvervsakademi Sydvest and Business College Syd.
- Poland: University of Gdańsk and InnoCamp PL.
- Spain: Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) and ourselves, IES Bernat Guinovart.
