The headteacher of the centre, Cristina Carrasco, and the deputy head of studies, Gabriel Gilabert, visited the ITE-LL “Gadda Rosselli” centre in Gallarate (Italy) from Tuesday 12th to Friday 15th November 2024, as part of the jobshadowing programme of the ERASMUS+ project.
There, we were welcomed by the ERASMUS coordinators and the headteacher of the centre. After being shown around the school, we took part in some very interesting educational experiences and innovative and inclusive methodologies over those four days.
During our stay, we were able to observe various classes with lessons taught using innovative teaching methods, including English, Spanish, history, science, and art classes, as well as the use of the CLIL methodology and inclusive practices. We participated in both technical and secondary school classes.
In addition to the observation, we had working groups on the organisation of the Institute and the PCTO, the presentation of some of the ongoing projects, as well as moments for comparison and the exchange of best practices.
We would like to express our gratitude for the willingness and excellent organisation of the host centre, and especially to the teachers Renzi, Suriano, Norcini, Ghinatti, Mandile, Curioni, Rossi, Cosentino, and Serati for letting us into their classes and showing us their projects, and particularly to Professor Rosa Pignararo for being our contact and guide.
