ROBOTIC 4.0 – A ROBOTIC INSTALLATION INTEGRATED IN SEVERAL CENTRES

A project that aims to leverage the students’ capabilities from various educational centres through the provision of an equipment applied to Industry 4.0. It seeks to enhance the students’ digital skills while increasing the training provided to teacher, both aligned with the objectives of 2023 Agenda.

The objective is that through collaboratives methodologies, the students learn the assembly and startup process of a robotic system integrated in industry 4.0. using the FANUC robot, complemented with the necessary equipment and devices to transform it into a digital trainer. Challenges are presented to the students, making them an active item of the project and with the teacher serving as a guide and mentor.

The participants work in coordination with the Centre of Excellence CIPFP Faitanar to make of this an updated process that caters a productive sector in different regions and localities of our community, from the north, Segorbe IES Alto Palancia, from Algemesí the IES Bernat Guinovart, to the south with the IES La Canal de Petrel. All these supported by the training and collaboration provided by FANUC IBERIA S.A.

With this exchange of experiences among centres, as if were an Industry 4.0 initiative and through meeting sessions, the development of a digital twin will be promoted. Here, students will become familiar with modern and updated robotics system, free of risks, preparing them to seamlessly integrate into the workforce. All of this to enhance their employability in a tangible and effective manner.

Thinking in the present and taking it a step further, the project’s own process generates a dynamic within the centres that encourages continuous improvement and applied innovation.

This applicability for instructing in the process, can be enhanced with computer vision and mixed reality? The answer is clear…
