The December 2nd 2021, was held the first employment convention in Digital District
This meeting is part of the strategy of the General Direction of Vocational Education Training and Special Education Status, through the Advanced Digital Innovation Centre (CIDA), to implement measures that facilitate the formation and the access to the technological job market of Vocational Training students.
Thirty industry and technological leader companies participated, such as Accenture, Air Networks, Avanade, Branch Creation, COCEMFE and Hub Diversity, Dinamic Brain, Dodit, Ecommaster, Facephi, FUNDAE, Group Atu, Group Soledad, Harmonic, HUAWEI, Infojobs, Inycom, Laberit, MINSAIT by Indra, NTTData, Ofimare, Orizon, PavaBits, Solitium, Sopra Steria, Teralco Group, Upicus and Verne.
These companies and entities, together with the Directorate-General for Vocational Training, have offered an extensive programme of activities. Students of Vocational Training have visited stands and meeting points to learn more about job offers of the companies of Digital District, participating in workshops, presentations, speed-dating and inspirational talks, being able to know first-hand the trends and current needs of the tech labor market.
Students of the first year of tourism VET degree from Miguel Hernández High School have participated as assistants of services in the event.
