Aulas Transformadoras is a project promoting pedagogical innovation that the General Subdirectorate of Teacher Training of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, offers to all non-university educational centers and teachers in the Valencian Community. It consists of a set of initiatives that involve the entire CEFIRE network in the Valencian Community to advise, guide, and train individual teachers or teaching teams as a whole, who wish to implement structured and lasting changes in their schools. This innovation, adaptable to each situation, focuses on the implementation of competency-based student-centred teaching and learning methodologies, making the most of educational technology and available spaces.

Thanks to this project, teachers can learn from other schools’ experience, conduct a diagnosis of the current status in student-centred methodologies, the effective use of technology, and the efficient use of spaces, as well as join a network of transformative centers where we can share information, seek advice, and enhance synergies. In addition, this portal offers various training resources, including a guide for transforming centers following this model. CEFIRE network training is offered both to individual teachers and to teaching teams, who are driving change in their centers.
