Desde el 21 hasta el 28 de septiembre el IES Radio Exterior está acogiendo al alumnado de intercambio de dos institutos de Austria (Purkersdorf) y Alemania (Pforzheim).
Nuestro alumnado está participando junto con sus compañeros austriaco-alemanes en diversas actividades ambientales, culturales y deportivas.
Ayer los alumnos y alumnas recorrieron juntos la reserva natural del Cabo de las Huertas y realizaron diversas actividades deportivas de equipo en la playa de San Juan, aprovechando para conocerse mejor en grupo.
Hoy ha sido el turno de mostrar al alumnado visitante nuestro centro. Han asistido a algunas clases y posteriormente ha llegado el Turibús para llevarlos a hacer una ruta cultural por nuestra ciudad.
Durante el fin de semana tendrán la oportunidad de empaparse de nuestras costumbres junto con sus familias de acogida, que verdaderamente los están tratando como a un miembro más, y la próxima semana aún les quedan varias excursiones a Villajoyosa, con visita a la fábrica de Valor incluida, Tabarca con ruta natural y museo, o actividades acuáticas en la playa de Muchavista. Asimismo, visitaremos la Universidad de Alicante y el MUA mientras participan en una divertida gymkana y finalizaremos la estancia con un picnic en la playa de la Almadraba, con vistas a nuestro emblemático castillo al anochecer.
El martes 26, Día Europeo de las Lenguas, también realizarán unas actividades al respecto en el centro, haciendo partícipe al resto de alumnado, ayudando así a visibilizar ese día y la importancia de aprender otras lenguas europeas.

From September 21st to 28th, the IES Radio Exterior is hosting exchange students from two high-schools in Austria (Purkersdorf) and Germany (Pforzheim).
Our students are participating together with their Austrian-German classmates in various environmental, cultural and sports activities.
Yesterday the students toured the Cabo de las Huertas nature reserve together and carried out different team sports activities on San Juan beach, taking the opportunity to get to know each other better as a group.
Today it was the turn to show the visiting students our center. They have attended some classes and later the Turibús has arrived to take them on a cultural route through our city.
During the weekend they will have the opportunity to immerse in our customs with their host families, who are truly treating them as another family member, and next week they still have several excursions to Villajoyosa, with a visit to the Valor factory included, Tabarca with natural route and museum, or water activities on Muchavista beach. Likewise, we will visit the University of Alicante and the MUA while they participate in a fun gymkhana and we will end the stay with a picnic on Almadraba beach, with views of our emblematic castle at dusk.
On Tuesday the 26th, European Day of Languages, they will also carry out some related activities at the centre, involving the rest of the students, thus helping to make this day and the importance of learning other European languages visible.
We are very much looking forward to visiting our partners in Austria and Germany in April!
