As a new feature this year, the CRA El Tejo and other partners of European schools have been accepted to participate in a project within the eTwinning platform called “Little Treasures of our city”. 

The project seeks to encourage students to discover cultural and natural treasures of their local environment, present them in English and share them with their peers across Europe. Through this process, they will improve their communication skills in English, develop their cultural awareness, enhance their creativity, and will strengthen their digital skills. In this project, the students choose a cultural or natural treasure from your surroundings (such as a monument, a park, a traditional dish, a craft or a custom) and the will present in English. All works will be shared in the eTwinning platform.

At the end of the project, all the school partners will collaborate to create a digital exhibition or a e-book showing student’s contributions.In this way, students will promote their own culture and explore the cultures of the of their European colleagues.

Com a novetat d’este curs, el CRA El Tejo i altres socis de col·legis europeus hem sigut acceptats per a participar en un projecte europeu dins de la plataforma *eTwinning anomenat “Xicotets Tresors de la nostra ciutat”.
El projecte busca animar a l’alumnat a descobrir els tresors culturals i naturals del seu entorn local, presentar-los en anglés i compartir-los amb els seus companys de tota Europa. A través d’este procés, milloraran les seues habilitats comunicatives en anglés, desenrotllaran la seua consciència cultural, potenciaran la seua creativitat i enfortiran les seues competències digitals. En este projecte, l’alumnat triarà un tresor cultural o natural del seu entorn (com un monument, un parc, un plat tradicional, una artesania o un costum) i el presentarà en anglés.
Tots els treballs es compartiran en la plataforma *eTwinning. En finalitzar el projecte, tots els centres educatius associats col·laboraran per a crear una exposició digital o un llibre electrònic que mostre les contribucions de l’alumnat. D’esta manera, l’alumnat promourà la seua pròpia cultura i explorarà les cultures dels seus companys europeus.
