To celebrate Earth Day, we decided to explore our planet in a very special way: by creating a 3D world map out of salt dough! 🧂🎨
Each student became an expert on a continent and was given the mission of researching its main geographical features—mountains, rivers, deserts, mountain ranges… Quite a challenge for creating a technical sheet! With the help of relief maps and scale models, we worked together as a team to piece together the puzzle of the world on a large cardboard base. We then covered it with plastic to faithfully recreate the continents in salt dough. Once it dried, we painted it and displayed it for the rest of the school.
🔎 It was an activity full of learning, discovery, and teamwork—and also a beautiful tribute to our planet.
🌱 Here are some photos and videos from the process so you can see how this small-but-mighty world took shape in our little hands.
