This Wednesday, we experienced a very special day full of sport, solidarity, and unity among schools. CEIP San Luis organised a solidarity race to raise funds for Save the Children, and we were lucky to count on the participation of CEIP Puig Jover from La Estación, CEIP Cardenal Belluga from San Felipe Neri, and IES Macià Abela from Crevillent.
🙌 The day began with a warm welcome from the San Luis students, who shared heartfelt reflections about peace. Then, students from the Physical Education Technician programme at IES Macià Abela led us in a super fun warm-up before the races began.
👟 The races were done in turns: first the youngest (who could run with their families!), then the middle groups, and finally the oldest students, who ran a longer distance. Everyone gave their very best!
🥇 After the races, we held an award ceremony and shared a joint lunch prepared by the schools and families, who brought delicious food to share.
❤️ We are so grateful for the involvement of the whole community and for raising funds for such a meaningful cause. Events like this remind us that, by working together, we build schools, we build community, and we build a better world.
