🎃 Surprise! This October, with Halloween just around the corner, we’ve discovered a second Artist of the Month… Tim Burton!
Known for his unique and mysterious style, Burton has taken us by the hand into worlds full of extravagant characters, crooked castles, dancing shadows, and pumpkins with twisted smiles. Through his art, his illustrations, and his book The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories, we’ve explored how fear, humour, and fantasy can all coexist in the same creative universe. 🐈⬛
His illustrations, dark colours, and elongated figures have inspired our own artistic creations. We also discussed how his stories—although a little eerie—also speak to us about difference, friendship, and imagination. 💀🕯️
It’s been the perfect discovery to get us ready for Halloween through art, emotion, and creativity! 👻
